How is this judgmental, uncaring person allowed to practice medicine?

I have been a patient of Dr. Bowman for a year and a half. I have had five heart attacks since 1973. He’s the first Cardiologist that has been so interested in my condition that he gives me all the time I need during an appointment and calls me with all results.

I had seen him for over 19 years. When they became part of a group it started to decline. I have great insurance and never had to pay up front. We just waited for my insurance to pay their part then I was billed. I had to get an EKG for my next appointment. They wanted $250 up front or I could not see Dr. Boman. Well I couldn't afford it up front and they wouldn't see me without getting the EKG so I decided to not see Dr. Boman any longer after 19 years of being his patient. So sad.

I had been his patient for a long time, and he did not even respond to UMC's page when I was admitted with a very serious heart issue. He should not be allowed to practice medicine.

I have been a patient for about four years. Dr. Boman is very easy to talk to and seems genuinely concerned about my health. His staff is very good. At one time he had a receptionist that was a little abrupt, but I don't think she is there any more.

Both he and his staff are not friendly. He is very judgmental and critical. I was his patient for six years, and when I had a serious health crisis and spent a week in the hospital, he never returned the hospital's calls nor followed up with me later.
