I have Fuch's Dystrophy, a rare eye disease. Another physician performed two cornea transplants, 2 cataract surgeries and I had 3 laser procedures. Numerous appointments and complications and finally I knew I needed a physician closer to home. I did my research and found Dr. Charles. My first appointment made me feel as if I knew Dr. Charles my entire life. He went over my file and explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I trust him and rate him high. I've been to the office twice to prepare for cataract surgery. On my second visit I was to see the Surgery counselor, Bobbi Reynolds. After one hour and fifty minutes of tests, I'm told Bobbi's not available at this time "she'll call you later or you can call here ". Really??? After 110 minutes? Next day I get a call for me to come in the next day @:30 to sign my paperwork. This practice should be in the Wal-Mart auto repair shop!

I have a family history of macular degeneration (mother) and glaucoma (maternal grandmother) but wasn't tested for either even though I mentioned both family conditions. All testing was done by young women with who knows how much training. Dr. Charles spent approximately 2 minutes with me and came into the room without introducing himself even though this was my first visit with him. I'm due for another check up but will request another doctor.
