IF YOU CAN STOMACH THE STAFF THEN ITS WORTH IT BECAUSE DR. OMAR IS GREAT!! THE STAFF IS SO HORRIBLE. VERY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, COLLECTS MONEY UPFRONT WHEN NOT SUPPOSE TO, BE AWARE. I HAD TO REPORT THIS TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL APPOINMENTS AND AFTER MAKING THE DR. AWARE OF HIS OFFICE STAFF BEHAVIOR THERE WAS STILL NO CHANGE. IT IS SAD BECUASE THE STAFF IS GOING TO RUIN THIS DOCTOR'S BUSINESS AND REPUTATION.

This doctor is one of the most arrogant, unprofessional doctors I know. During the time of this pandemic he doesn’t like to wear masks while dealing with patients and staff, horrible bed side manners, and just a big no.

Very combative and difficult staff. As a customer choosing to pay out of pocket, even though I have great insurance and could go to any physician in town, I was shocked with how rude the front office was to me. I called multiple times with honest questions on a medication, they blamed me for nothing, and never returned my calls. It is surprising how an office can work so hard to treat people badly. I make a habit of treating people with kindness always, but they were absolutely intolerable in return. Dr. Omar was pleasant but I find it difficult to justify going to his office if I have to deal with his staff.

Dr. Sam Omar was great. Very informative and made the process of getting my eyes done seem easy. I had contacts most of my life and still since 1998 my eyesight is still going strong! Thanks Sam!!

Dr. omar is good dr because he listen patients however, the office staffs were extremily rude and combative when jt comes to money. It was worst experience for me .. Those two ladies in the front must lean how to treat patients ans learn manner.. Very rude and i do not recomment this office for sure. I used to be dr.'s office manager and i know how difficult handle certain pts however, these two people were ruining the office .. And dr's reputation. Maybe they can collect the money well with fighting however, patients are not money making matchine and it is not our fault to get bad insurance or complicated. I am not planing to go back to that office for sure. I went to the office to get the treatment not criticized because of my insurance or my credit card

The staff is rude and combative when questioned about insurance issues. They say they don't take one of my two insurance plans, yet it is listed here ...

The staff is far from courteous. They do NOT provide essential information when calling to confirm an appointment, such as if any co-payment might be due at the visit. My co-pay should have been $25.00 on the first visit and this eye doctor charged me $40.00. It's clear I was overcharged! Due to the extreme rudeness of the staff, I fired this doctor from my care. I went back in, to have my records released to another doctor and they handed me a letter with a threat, which read as follows: "Without proper medical follow up, you run the risk of damaging your vision and possible blindness". I will not bow down to an inferior doctor's threat tactics used to scare patients into staying with a doctor they don't trust and just fired. I would NEVER recommend Dr Sam Omar & Advanced Vision Institute to anyone!!

Dr. Omar really is fantastic but his office staff is awful. This is my 2nd time here and I came back because I really liked the doctor but the ladies in the front office left the same bad taste in my mouth. They are rude and one is very condescending. I had a question about insurance and instead of helping to educate me she was kind of combative and weird about the whole thing. When you are paying for services, you expect a certain level of courtesy and politeness. I won't be coming back.
