Dr Keith Dockery, MD

Dr. Dockery perform a tracheotomy and stints to open her airway for abdominal surgery on my daughter who at the time 30 years of age she been without a tracheotomy for over 20 + years after placing the tracheotomy and stints he assure me it will not be in the for more than 3 months. Every visit he ask me her mother when did he say he would take the trach out, when she went for the surgery he removed the stints and left the in, the only thing he could say is she will have the rest of her life. He never really evaluated my daughter knowing she a teach over 20 years ago. I will not recommend no one to this doctor , no communication and very quick to put someone under his knife, I will not stop til I get justice for what he has done to my daughter he has scar for the rest of her life now she will be always living on the edge because of his negligence.

Impressed is a mild term to how he diagnosed me by hearing the manner I spoke and my breathing. Since my first visit Dr. Dockery and staff has provided the definition of professionalism and care that exemplify his work. The airway in my nose was constricted to where I had trouble performing some basic breathing techniques; thanks to the knowledge and miracle hands of Dr. Dockery I can perform those simple tasks and have begun to lose weight because my breathing has been regulated. We to Dr. Dockery because of a lump in my neck. Dr. Dockery quickly diagnosed possible Thyroid Cancer, scheduled me for surgery quickly where the cancer was confirmed. I found him to be caring, called me the night before surgery to make sure I was able to rest, met me in the holding area and quickly got me to the OR when I began to feel anxious. Thank you Dr. Dockery.

This guy SUCKS; his dedication is to rip the people off. Not worth a penny.

Doctor dockery has performed three surgeries for me. Can't say enough positive things about him.

Friendly staff and really knowledgeable doctor.

The wait was a little extreme but the friendliness of the staff over compensated for that.

I can't believe all the bad reviews. His bedside manner may need some work but as far as a surgeon goes, he's amazing. My mother wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Dr. Dockery. She required a tracheotomy & for some reason no other ENT at Piedmont wanted to touch her. It could have been because she was a high risk patient or because she didn't have insurance. I'm just thankful that Dr. Dockery was the doctor that did take my mother as a patient.

Using Dr. K. Dockery and his practice was one of the WORST decisions of my life. I was referred to him through my doctor and other wonderful reviews that I had read. I was dealing with a throbbing ear infection and went to his practice. FIRST it took forever to get someone on the phone- I had to call back to back for 2 days because I kept getting their answering service, even after 9:30am and their lunch break is approx 2 hours so there's no way I could reach anyone between 11-1. Next, when I arrived at my appointment (at 8am) the office was CLOSED. THE LIGHTS WERE OFF AND NO ONE WAS INSIDE. I knocked on the door (mad because I had just paid $5 parking that's not validated) and after apprx 15minutes someone came from the back and asked me why I was here so early. It went down hill after that. There was appx 25 wait time (obviously) and when I finally got in to see the doctor, he took one look inside my ear and said 'Ear to impacted, nothing I can do- will prescribe ear drops and come… back in about a week.' THAT ENTIRE CONVERSATION TOOK LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! Needless to say I was fuming but what really did it for me was coming back for a follow up and then being charged AGAIN for a whole new visit. Needless to say I didn't and will not be returning there. It took me 3 weeks to get the billing staff on the phone because of her schedule and vacation/outoftheoffice etc and they had the nerve to charge me a finance charge. So NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME HERE AND YES I WILL BE POSTING THIS REVIEW ON AS MANY REFERRAL SITES THAT I CAN SO THAT PEOPLE ARE VERY AWARE OF WHAT TO EXPECT. Dr. Dockery is very pleasant and explained my condition (didn't entirely fix it though) but his business side of his practice is AWFUL. I really hope he and his staff can review this review and make the necessary adjustments.

This Dr. is very concerned with knowing that he is and will always be right. After 3 visits regarding my grandmother and multiple thousand dollar tests, he came to the conclusion of "I don't know what's wrong." He was a jerk the entire time. After I asked him what his opinion was on taking her to a chiropractor, his response was "I don't believe in them." Clearly he was unable to help us, so why not try something else? Overall he was a jerk who seemed to think he had all the answers when he actually had nothing at all. I would not go to him.
