I have never met a doctor who made me feel comfortable and confident that I chose the right doctor to put my life in his hands. Dr. Fournier bonded with my family as well. As a patient, I can explain my illness to you as well as Dr Fournier because he communicates very well to me all that medically concerns me. My family members and I are honored and grateful to have Dr Fournier and his staff, Karen Beatty to perform life saving procedures to save my life. Dr Fournier is an asset to MDA and the medical field. Thank you MDA for having doctors who makes their psyodnt feels like family. I am a verified patient. Dr. Fournier performed an 11 hour surgery on me. He removed a difficult tumor that was attached to my appendix, small intestine, ureter and in the peritoneal cavity The top Hospitals/ Doctors in the NYC area gave me no hope of living. His surgery in the least extended and/or at best saved my life. He is a very detailed (knew, as if they were his tests, all my tests from other NYC Hospitals), careful (4 trips from NYC to Houston of detailed testing) and caring professional. I felt very confident in him and highly recommend him.

Couldn't have gone to a better oncology surgeon! He was experienced, knowledgeable and such a caring person. He explain everything to us in detail. Always had a positive attitude, never felt rush or confused. While my daughter was in the hospital rcovering from surgery, him and his assistant, Dr. Spencer came by several times a day. His staff was caring and prompt with my daughter's needs. He's amazing, him and his staff saved my daughter's life!! Considering my daughter's circumstances, our Lord put us in the best of hands.......

I would trust Dr. Fournier with my life--actually I did. I love everything about this doctor. He is an intelligent, skilled, and caring surgeon. He scours every CT scan himself, checking and double checking to make sure the radiologist noted anything pertinent. Dr.Fournier performed the HIPEC procedure on me, a very complicated surgery that is only done at about 35 hospitals across the U.S. and my recovery went without complications. Although I have to travel over 1,000 miles every 3 months to see this man, and it's draining my savings, I wouldn't feel comfortable going to anyone else. Once you have the best....

A very caring Doctor who took care to a whole new personal level. He does his job which I think he geniunely wants to help his patients. some of the news isnt what we want to hear but at the same time you can tell he doesnt really want to be telling you the bad as well. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who would like a intelligent caring physician in their corner. He goes above and beyond and constantly steps out of his comfort zone to help his patients as much as possible. He will keep in touch and at times offer any helpful advice that he thinks might help your situation convential or not. Rather its a supplement that was told by different pts that helped with nausea or something he has read about elsewhere. Very informative and very helpful with only the pts best interest at heart.
