Dr. Keith Raymond Hoffmann, MD

I had Dr. Hoffmann as my Primary Care but moved farther north so I had to leave. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I would definitely still be with him if lived closer. He listened and was very concerned about your health.

Always has time for you, and was able to diagnose conditions that other physician missed.

Dr. Keith Hoffmann is the most professional, patient and friendly doctor that I have ever gone to for any medical problem, when I was a patient of his at East Area Family Physicians. Unfortunately, Dr. Hoffmann left that practice and is now practicing at a new location. Recently I was trying to have my records transferred to his new office so Dr Hoffmann can continue to be my doctor. Unfortunately, after talking to two of the women office staff at the new location, this simple task is complicated. I was told I needed to make an appointment to see the doctor before they would even begin the process to request my records from the previous office. Then it would be several weeks before I could even get an appointment. My concern was to get my records transferred, and the records would be available if and when I became ill and needed to see the doctor within a day or two for a serious illness. Waiting 3-4 weeks to seek treatment is ridiculous. I was told by both of these women then… I would just have to go to an Urgent Care Facility or go back to East Area Family Physicians. I am frustrated and not impressed so far with the new office staff.

My family and I have been seeing doctor Hoffmann for 6 years, we don't think that we gonna find someone better than him. Sadly, he moved to another location that does not take our insurance, it is our lost. He moved to another office in Saint clair shores, I believe it is on 10 and Harper.

The best doctor I ever had. He was more than a doctor, he was a friend also. I felt comfortable with him. Had some good laughs. I never knew he was leaving. I wish I would have. I'll continue to go to the Family Practice but I'll be looking for another doctor. Dr. Hoffmann would "go out on a limb" for you, the other doctors there, well, I know a few of them are afraid of the DEA, just say the name and they jump.

Dr Hoffmann had been my PCP since 2001. He was professional, courteous, caring and an excellent doctor. I pray that wherever he went the patients that feel as I do, will be notified. 15 years is too much history to try to find another doctor. My prayers are with Dr Hoffmann.

This is what the AMA states when a physician leaves a group. "The patients of a physician who leaves a group practice should be notified that the physician is leaving the group. Patients of the physician should also be informed of the physicianâ??s new address and offered the opportunity to have their medical records forwarded to the departing physician at his or her new practice location. It is unethical to withhold such information upon request of a patient. " Dr. Hoffmann is the best! I sincerely hope they are not getting between me and my doctor.

Dr Hoffmann is so down to earth with a great personality! He makes you feel relaxed and tells you like it is!! Our whole family misses him! We wish we knew where he is practicing! Shame on East Area Family Physicians for not informing his patients regarding this situation.
