Dr. Keith Brian Kappeler, DO

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kappeler’s for about 8 years. He is without a doubt the most Caring and Compassionate Physician I have ever had. While in the hospital, he came to see me Everyday. I didn’t have to deal with other Dr.’s that I’ve never met and that didn’t know me. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. Kappeler to anyone I know that’s needs a Dr. Melissa is a very Understanding and huge part of Dr. Kappeler’s team!

If I could give zero stars I would. If you have anything complicated going on steer clear of this pompous pill pusher. He doesn't listen and his only diagnosis are the few things he's familiar with. Dangerous if you have something that requires more thinking. Don't waste your energy and find a doctor that is compassionate.

Dr. Kappeler is the only doctor I’ve been able to find that actually understands the body and doesn’t just give medicine to use as a band-aid. Dr. Kapp gets to the root of the problem. He truly cares about his patients. Best doctor I’ve ever been to. Not surprising that I found him because one of his patients had told me about him. I moved to Sarasota and still make the long drive to his office. I wouldn’t trust my health with anyone else.

If you have the flu, a cold, an ear infection...this is the doc for you. If you have anything out of the ordinary this is NOT the doc for you. He is quick to diagnose with something simple rather than listening to all of your symptoms. A little arrogant if you question anything he is doing. Definately not a two way communication with a patient. I questioned abnormal lab results and he completely disregarded the report. I left and went elsewhere. Thank God I did...my illness could have been fatal if not treated promptly.

I have seen this doctor for the last 20 years of my life, and I recommend all of my friends and family to see Dr. Kapp and his friend desk,( and Melissa-historical front office manger, shot giver, and johnny (Jax) on his spot as well as helping his new friends lol ??

Worst Doctor!!! Treated me as if I were looking to be on pain medicine for no reason. Told me the pain in my neck is only due to my brain telling my body to take more medicine. I requested an MRI, got sent to Advanced Imaging Where their Tesla on their machine was extremely low. Cervical MRI came back normal prior I had one in 2014 and was diagnosed with a list of things. Had to pay 500.00 out of pocket to have them retaken at Rose. He pretty much told me I was a pill abuser and he wasn't going to clean up the mess of other doctors who prescribe the scripts previously. He said he goes to clinic about people like me... Pill poppers and I needed to be on Suboxin. Great Job!! Found out after suffering from tremendous neck pain, my brain is 2 inches into my spine. I have Arnold Chiari Malformation. Maybe they didn't teach him to listen to his patience in school. No wonder his office is always empty. He laughed and thought it was funny when I went and got a second opinion on my MRI. Save… yourself and your family from feeling depressed and humiliated from this man. Very short and not educated on how to help his patients. Due to his lack of concern I was reduced to a denial in my workers comp case!!! Maybe he would enjoy paying my bills!! Now awaiting brain surgery a year later. No excuse!!! Kappler you get a -10 rating from me! Stereotyping your patients...unacceptable!

My wife and I needed a new Primary Care Physician so we picked Dr Kappeler out of our directory. We couldn't be more satisfied !!! Great bedside manner, very good knowledge of my wife's problems, very patient. I would recommend Dr Kappeler to anyone.

Probably one of the best doctor's visits experiences, between his front desk staff and him.

I was totally impressed !Not an assembly line doc in a box, real compassion and back to basics look you in the eye ask questions that matter treat you like a real person doctoring! I even saw him answering the office phone for patients and scheduling appointments! How often do you see a Dr that involved? Highly recommend,..if you are tired of the assembly line and feeling like a number this is where you need to be!
