I went with my grandmother to see him for a routine annual visit and during the appointment he was very dismissive of our questions and rushed through the appointment. We did not even get to have everything we had questions about acknowledged. It was a very sad and frustrating visit. I would not recommend him if you have a choice.

Without asking any questions Dr Katsura made an erroneous judgement about my husband’s situation and refused to assist him with his well documented medical condition. He never remembered or reviewed my husband’s records prior to visits. He was just awful. Thankfully we have a new MD.

He has all the answers before he ever sees you, so he doesn't need to listen to what you might say. He might be just fine for someone who prefers not to have to think for themselves.

Dr Katsura does not know his patients. I have been a patient for years and he still treats me as he has never seen me and is reading my chart as he walks in the door. Has no idea how to treat type 1 diabetes.

Thorough, kind, listens, excellent!

My Dr. was out of the office when I needed to have my blood work ordered. Dr Katsura ordered it for me on her behalf. The blood work results are beginning to come in and unless it's a fluke, it appears Katsura ordered tests based on what he'd seen in my previous history. Based on this alone, I find him detail oriented and gets straight to the issue. Facts speak louder than assumptions & I wish I could have him as my primary

Based on our experience only: Makes inaccurate and inappropriate judgements regarding test results and does not attempt to have a conversation with the patient about factors that may have impacted the test results. Condescending. Apparently begins visits without reviewing the chart so each visit must begin from zero, subsequent visits cannot build on previous interactions. Recently changed PCP, best decision ever. Find a doctor who cares to know why you need him.
