Dr. Keith Gerard LeBlanc Jr, MD

Dr. LeBlanc removed a squamous-cell skin cancer growth from the back of my neck about 6 mm (1/4 inch) in diameter using the MOHS technique. This is basically a plastic surgery method where very little of the growth is removed initially and then immediately examined to see if all the cancerous cells were removed. If there is still a sign of cancer, another small sample is removed and examined. The purpose is to do this several or more times, but excising only a very small area each time to minimize any unnecessary scarring. Dr. LeBlanc excised ONLY ONE LARGE SECTION OF SKIN ABOUT 65 MM (2 1/2 INCHES!) LONG WHICH LEFT A VERY VISIBLE JAGGED SCAR ON THE BASE OF MY NECK. Nothing I have been able to do has minimized the scar. This was a terrible outcome that never should have happened. I would never go back to Dr LeBlanc under any circumstances.

Absolute excellence in every possible way. Dr. LeBlanc's office staff is warm and friendly, and goes above and beyond to ensure their patients receive the best care and service. Dr. LeBlanc himself is truly gifted and has not forgotten the human side of medicine. His brilliance as a surgeon is indisputable, but he takes patient care a step further in that he carefully educates his patients, calms and alleviates fears, never promises what he can't deliver, and follows up after surgery with a personal touch uncommon in medicine today. I cannot say enough positive things about him or his office staff, despite the awful reason for needing him.
