I visited Dr. Nelson for a physical last year, so I would have been 18 years old. All I wanted was a physical. I answered the questions on the questionnaire I was told to fill out, noting that I do experience anxiety. Who's going to lie to a doctor? That was my first and last visit. When he came into the room, he just started hounding me with questions of my past. I became emotional when the question of substance abuse came up, because that is in my family. He just kept going, never stopping to let me calm down. It was the strangest experience, because if I would have been thinking rationally, I would have got up and left. This guy should really join the CIA or something with his ability to mentally break someone down. I am not typically the type to hysterically cry on the drop of a dime. I then found out why he was doing this. It was because he wanted me to let God into my life more, suggesting I start going to his church. Can you believe that? His job is to be a doctor, not to take… pleasure in watching young girls cry and use it as an opportunity to thrust his religious beliefs on. I really don't know how this man is still able to practice medicine. I guess I found out why I was the only person in the waiting room. Save your time and money, and research a good doctor in the area who will actually help you.

I felt like I wasn't being listened to. He wants to rush me out of the office or doesn't really pay attention or listen to me. Told me if I want to discuss more than one issue, to make another appointment. This last visit was for my Yearly Physical! After 1 1/2 years of going to see him, I have decided I have had enough and I am going to switch to a different doctor.

Dr. Nelson takes the time to explain things. I have never felt rushed and feel he really cares about me as a patient.

Dr. Nelson is a ok dr if you have the flu or something. For everything else he stinks. The nurse Practitioner Karen Risch is more thourough, understanding and she sincerly cares about patinets. Keith imposes his own personal beliefs and lifestyle and treats according to that, not what is ethical and in the best intrest of the patient. He should quit being a DR, and open up an alternitve medicine clinc, that is basicly how he treats me.
