I'm very happy with the doctor's appointment today he explained what he is doing and shows you on ultrasound what is been done.

My husband had bilateral arthroscopic surgery for meniscus tears and a 'locking knee' that had interfered with mobility and caused him to fall off the deck previously.He healed beautifully with no infection or complications.His physical therapy people were also fantastic.I am a retired hospital RN and would highly recommend him.

Like in another review this "doctor" said I was fine and it turns out I needed surgery. One star because he can't be trusted with your health. He doesn't know what he's doing on a simple wrist fracture. Calls himself "sports medicine."

Great surgeon also great bedside manner, year later healed and happy from my rotator cuff surgery.

Other doctors told me it was "just arthritis"... I was in terrible pain. Dr. Pitchford gave me great care and attention and could show me my torn meniscus. So grateful!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Pitchford strongly enough. He has done a knee and shoulder surgery in me as well as surgery on my husband and son. We trust him and his staff completely and would never consider anyone other than him when it comes to orthopedics! If there were 10 stars, I would give it to him! His expertise, compassion and follow up cannot be beaten! Great staff too!

Very intelligent Doctor. Did knee surgery and when I recovered, it still was hurting. Went back several times to for him to see what was wrong, but told me every time I was fine. I gave up and went to another Doctor and it finds out it is torn again. I am not one to complain, He is very sweet, and understands the orthopedic of the body, but I am back for a second surgery and it has been a year since my last one. Very frustrating since I lost my job because of this. I'm not saying he did a poor job on the surgery; I could have done something myself, but it is the fact I went back several times and it ended as "I don't need to see you anymore."

I am a 57 yr old female with multiple knee injuries. The wait time for new patient appt was 3 weeks, normal. The wait time in the office was 35 minutes, normal. Dr gave me a couple of options for surgery/treatment. He was in the room with me for 40 minutes, until I understood the procedures and was comfortable with the decision we made together. He is very knowledgeable in his field, and also very caring about the patient. The postop therapy was superb. An allaround good package, I felt well cared for, not just 'a number'.

I am a 24 yr. old male. I do not need an orthopedic physician on a regular basis. I had seen this doctor at least 3 times in my past, but when I called to make an appointment after a knee injury in a soccer game, I was told that it had been 3 years since my last visit so I would be considered a new patient. AND it was a 6 week wait for a new patient appointment! I feel this was ridiculous, no consideration for my injury or that I had been a past patient.

This doctor is the nicest and most knowledgable you will ever meet.
