Dr. Keith Richard Ridel, MD

Absolutely TERRIBLE!!! If needed in case of an emergency, you may as well die.

I started seeing Ridel when I was 16 to try to get an answer to medical issues I had been having for a year. He ran some tests and diagnosed me. My diagnosis required IV treatments which I received for 6 years. After 6 years of treatment we went to Mayo Clinic where we discovered he has misdiagnosed my illness and treated me for something I never had. We also found out that the correct diagnosis was on the original testing he had done, but he overlooked it saying it was nothing. DO NOT TRUST HIM WITH YOUR CHILDS MEDICAL CARE! He is a negligent doctor that should not be practicing medicine.

We were so pleased with our first visit to Dr. Ridel. It wasn't until we had an issue that his true colors surfaced. We called because my daughter had a seizure. He wouldn't talk with us and only had his assistant call us back. When I asked again if we could speak with him, I was told that he doesn't return calls and wouldn't talk with us. This is NOT the type of doctor that we want for our daughter. We have since changed doctors to someone who would actually speak with us.

We really hoped we had found the right doctor. After our first visit, we were so encouraged and pleased with him. The issues started when I tried to reach the doctor to let him know things had changed with her condition. His MA called each time. At no time could I actually talk to the doctor to explain the situation. I even asked to speak to him and was told the doctor does not return calls. After two tests came back normal, he washed his hands of my daughter. Now he has referred us on. Hoping we have a better experience with a new doctor.

First time seeing Dr. Ridel. Didn't wait long, very personable, great bedside manner. Caring and kind.

I wld recommend Dr. Ridel to anyone. He's very polite and takes his time with his patients. He is one of those doctors that care about his patients and really tries to give you the best care he can. Only downfall is the front office staff at the southside office needs to work on their people skills and be more courteous.

The staff was very caring and went out of their way to make sure we saw Dr Ridel when my daughters regular doctor made the appointment but told us the wrong location. Dr Ridel spent a good amount of time with us and answered all of the questions we had. His staff were also considerate and caring.

I don't agree with somebody's previous rating about Dr Ridel's bedside manner being two stars. He was caring and knew alot about my child's illness. I would highly recommend him

While Dr. Ridel is obviously a very intelligent man, he needs to work on his bedside manner. I don't feel he really cared about my son's ailment and the fact that he was in extreme pain from his migraines and had missed six weeks of school. His answer was to take these drugs and I'll see you in four weeks. He needed to do more and actually CARE what was happening with my son.
