It was the most amazing experience of my life. The whole process went smooth-from the pre-op to surgery to post-op.  I went in to see Dr Skolnick with cataracts and negative 15 vision.  I'm 63 and wore contacts for 50 years. Dr Skolnick knew exactly how I was struggling with my vision aside from developing cataracts.  The surgical team at Baptist were remarkable. They made me extremely comfortable in the surgical prep. Throughout the surgical process, which is reasonably quick, Dr Skolnick was great with communication. Not one second was I uncomfortable.  Zero pain. Zero irritation.  When I walked out of the surgical center with my new eye sight, for the first time in my life I got to see everything as it really was. Colors, shapes, lights, darks etc etc.   This journey started with negative 15 eye sight and I ended up with 20/20 vision. I cant praise Dr Skolnick enough for opening up a new world for me! Its been a wonderful experience.  Thank you Dr!

What can I say. Along with Dr. Lara the man gave me my eyesight back. I hadn't seen a blue sky in over 10 years. Had both eyes done. Any concerns I had were gone after this experience. Dr. Skolnick performed two cataract surguries over the past two months. I can see clearly now and can put away my reading glasses. Dr.Skolnick is most professional, willing to answer questions and spend time explaining the procedure. He even called the night of the surgery to see how I was feeling. Dr. Skolnick as well as the staff at the Ft. Lauderdale Eye Institue and Baptist eye surgery Center were wonderful to work with. I have referred many friends to Dr. Skolnick and they feel the same as I do.

Dr. Skolnick was great, as was the staff at flei and Baptist health. Very pleased with with the new vision. I chose the 3 in one drops for my first eye, then chose the 3 separate drops for the second. Much prefer the 3 separate drops. I see the difference in my pickleball game!

I was referred to Dr. Skolnick from my regular eye doctor to address my cataracts. He recently corrected both eyes with new Multi-focal toric lenses. Since I am very farsighted (+8) with astigmatisms in both eyes, he was able to provide me 20/20 - right eye after 2 weeks and 20/25 after 1 day recovery. I have worn glasses for the past 55 years currently 60 yo. and this has been a definite EYE OPENING experience. I am truly grateful for the vision after surgery. I was called a special patient, then I am only special due to Dr. Skolnick. I can't thank him enough for this experience.

Promises one thing and doesn’t follow through. Bordering malpractice in my opinion Upfront for the surgery and everything was wonderful. But the follow up and trying to schedule the scar tissue removal is a nightmare. I have been trying for nearly 2 weeks now and cannot get a call back. I have a wedding coming up. My vision is getting worse and nobody will call me back to schedule an appointment. Who would do that, who would do bilateral cataract surgery and promise to take care of the scar tissue and then leave you hanging and do nothing. If you asked me, that is on the verge of malpractice.

Dr. Skolnick is a wonderful, personable and extremely knowledgeable doctor. He explained everything during my cataract evaluation, answered any questions I had. His staff went over lens choices, costs, procedures. My cataract surgeries went beautifully, and I can see without glasses again! I highly recommend Dr. Skolnick.

Dr Skolnick provided clear and concise options for me when I saw him about the cataracts in my eyes. After a thorough examination with state of the art diagnostic tools, he suggested I get multi focal IOL’s. (Intraocular lens). The surgery was scheduled quickly. Dr. Skolnick explained the procedure on surgery day. The process was quick and painless. I was amazed at how clearly I could see within an hour after surgery. My vision was very good at my post operative visit with Dr. Skolnick the following day. I had my other eye done two weeks later with the same positive results. I have worn glasses or contacts lens for 60 years and my vision has never been this good. I recommend Dr. Skolnick to anyone with cataract issues.
