Dr. Kelecia R Brown, MD

I met Dr. Brown while on bed rest for a week in the hospital, she was the on call doctor that week. It was an extremely stressful week with an extremely premature labor (24 weeks). Dr. Brown listened to me every step of the way. When I didn't want physical dilation checks to avoid risk of rupturing my water bag she listened and did not perform them unless necessary. She was compassionate, took her time with me, answered every single question and ensured I felt comfortable. She helped me keep my daughter in 1 extra week and when she was born the delivery went absolutely as smooth as it possibly could for that early of a birth. I strongly believe my daughter is a healthy happy 2 year old now because of Dr. Brown helping me keep her in.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Brown. She throughly explains information and makes sure you understand. She also provides options along with providing her professional opinion. She doesn’t try to make you feel bad for not choosing an option that she may recommend. She has the best bedside manner and is the first doctor who has personally called me to give me information. Usually it’s a nurse that calls to relay information. She was definitely sent by God to help me with my situation.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this doctor. She really helped us get through a very difficult pregnancy with such compassion and professionalism, The way she explained things to me were very easy to understand and i really understood my options. She really made a tough situation so manageable. Thanks a million Dr Brown . We will be back with baby number two.

You wait a long time and when you finally get examined she seems bothered by questions. I understand she works long hours but that was her choice. If she regrets her career decision she should make a career change. I was pretty much stuck with her because I had a high-risk pregnancy. She seemed very knowledgeable but her bedside manner sucks!! Oh and make sure you have excellent (private) insurance. If you're a medicaid patient you're screwed. I'm not sure she'll even want to be in the same room as you.
