Dr. Kelissa S. Shillingford, MD

Went to see Dr. Shillingford for sore throat and my very high blood pressure. She refused to see me for both and she "you can only been seen for either your sore throat or you high blood pressure." She would not under any condition see me for both. She said my blood pressure was more important than my sore throat. She only spent the next 3 minutes increasing my blood pressure and left the room. 3 minutes and I could not ask questions. I had to then go to a different Urgent Care down the street, pay another co payment and the very kind physician did a strep screen and it was POSITIVE for strep throat and prescribed me a simple antibiotic, and this whole visit took just a few minutes. I do not recommend her. I do not like her bedside manner. I felt very very rushed and was not allowed to ask questions. She made me feel very dumb and I am college educated with a Ph. D.

Do not recommend DR SHILLINGFORD. I came in for three minor concerns and she told me “pick the one thing” I wanted to be seen for and then she asked me to make two more appointments in the same week to talk about the other two. She only spent four minutes with me and rushed me out the door. I was not allowed to ask questions."

Do NOT advise to see. I’m personable. Poor bed side manner. Talked a lot about her self. She pushed me right through my complete physical exam and best of all I could not get my blood pressure refilled at my annual physical exam and was out of medicine. Dr. Shillingford made me schedule another appointment for two days later to get my single blood pressure refilled and spent only 3-4 minutes and joked “you were just in here, right? Seemed not to review my medical chart. Seemed very much in a rush and her body language was negatived and when I asked two questions her rolled her eyes at me. She made me feel bad for coming to the office. I will NEVER see her again.

Bad experience. Came in for a physical and weight loss. Dr.Shillingford did not allow me to do both. She told me to pick one or the other. She rolled her eyes a lot. Made me feel very unwelcome.

Poor bedside manner. Seen her several times now. She has a negative attitude. Condescending tone. I had two major issues I booked my visit for and she only allowed me to talk about one. She rolled her eyes several time. Do not recommend. Her nurse was super nice

Dr. Shillingford is very caring and takes as much time as you need to answer any and all questions you may have and if she’s not sure of the answer she will carefully research it to make sure her response is 100% accurate. She genuinely cares about your good health.
