Dr. Kelley Howard Rouse, MD

I started seeing Dr. Rouse in 2018 when I returned to the area. A friend recommended her, I found her to be amazing, great bed side manners, answered all my questions, and made me feel very comfortable! I had an appointment with her just today and I swear it was the same quality appointment! She answered my questions and did not make me feel like a chart number! Thanks Dr. Rouse

I love love Dr. Rouse. She is an amazing physician and so glad she is now a part of Charlotte Ob/Gyn. She delivered my son last year and was so awesome. Everything went really smoothly.

I love love love Dr. Rouse! She is so nice and makes you feel so comfortable. She was a delight to work with throughout my pregnancy. I recommend her to all of my friends and co-workers for their OB-GYN needs. I will keep her as my doctor for as long as I can!

Dr. Rouse performed a LEEP procedure in outpatient OR on me today. She seemed annoyed by the fact that I requested to have the procedure in the OR as she obviously prefers to do them in her office. My father is an obgyn and recommended that I have it in the OR and have at least 2 full postoperative days for recovery which dr rouse flat out refused to allow me as "most of her patients have it in the office and are back to work the next day". Good for them. I hope my experience is like theirs and not like some that of some other women I know. Maybe to dr rouse all women's bodies are alike and my comfort level and my family's comfort level is not deserving of consideration. Of course I will not return to work sooner than I feel comfortable so my daughter will have to use our savings to make up the loss of 2 days income. I am a single mother with stressfull and physically demanding job and I can't afford any complications with my healing process. By the time I woke up after the procedure… DR. Rouse was already gone. No postop conference to tell me how the procedure went. How much tissue did she end up removing? I would have liked to have touched base with her after my procedure I had some questions and I don't want to wait 2 weeks to talk to her. I felt like a procedure and not person today. i don't think she cared how I felt about anything one way or the other as long as I show up and my insurance pays on time. I had seen dr rouse initially many years ago when I was having another medical issue and I actually chose to come back to her years later even though I no longer live in the area because I liked her bedside manner and I felt like she was a compassionate dr. That listened to me and not try to make me do anything I was uncomfortable with even if it was easier or cheaper for her. It appears that things have changed in that area and I am definitely disappointed. This time I felt like a chart number and a diagnosis. Maybe this is just the next generation in healthcare. Clinically she seems skilled and very efficient though.

Dr. Rouse has been my doctor for 12 years now! I have never had anything but excellence from her. She even remembered what we spoke about on our last visit the prior year!

MY FIRST VISIT WITH DR ROUSE WAS REALL GOOD SEEMS LIKE WE BEEN KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR A LONG TIME I ASKED QUESTIONS AND THEY WERE ANSWERED I WAS NOT RUSHED EITHER

Dr.Rouse is a great OB/GYN Provider, she makes you feel like she's known you forever and that is comforting especially since this is not most women's favorite place to be. Dr.Rouse does not rush you through the visit yet she won't have you there all day. I would and have recommended her to anyone and everyone I know. Keep up the great work! Staff is friendly as well :)

Always very rushed in each appointment. Seemed to have an agenda for each appointment of what she wanted to say to me, but was very dismissive of anything I had to say. Even questions I asked were not directly answered, she sometimes attempted to answer questions before I finished asking the question - which lead to a back and forwth because now I am attempting to clarify what I am asking to attempt to get clear and accurate answers. I just felt that she didnt listen and wasnt very concerned with how I felt about how things were going. Her approach was very directive adn not inquiring, which made me feel like just another patient number verses a patient and an actual person. She is fine for routine work - annuals and such, but definitly not for having a baby.

Dr. Rouse is great! I feel very comfortable with her and she answers my questions and I don't feel rushed.
