Dr. Kelly Price, MD

Dr. Price is an extremely wonderful pediatrician! From the very moment that my daughter was born she was there to answer any questions/concerns, listen patiently to me (as a brand new mother) and not make me feel as if any questions I had were rediculous. She also eased any feelings of inadequacy on my part and always gave praise on being a good mom. Dr. Price has a huge heart and will go out of her way to help her patients and their parents! Not only have I had the pleasure of having her as my daughters pediatrician, but I have also had the privelage of working with her in several settings. "Behind the scenes" she is the same person that you see in clinic: a very professional, caring, concerned, loves all kiddos type of person! I just don't see how anyone could not like her and the great job that she does! In my personal and professional opinion (I am a nurse), Dr. Price is one of the best pediatricians I have ever encountered! The only reason I rated a few of the stars as a 3 was… because of the military medical system. She really has no control over the patient time slots and the office staff.... so I guess we really can't hold that against her now can we! :D

I'm not sure about the previous review. Being in the medical community, I've worked with Dr Price at the Air Force medical treatment facility and have found her to be very competent at her job and very instead in her patients. There are constraints on military physicians that make wait times somewhat longer. However, I was booked for a routine appointment which should have only been alloted 20 minutes, yet Dr Price spent at least 45 minutes with my child to ensure a thorough exam. I know this put her behind that day (and probably affected the ability to get to other patients in a timely manner) but she listened, took my child's symptoms seriously, appeared competent and knowledgeable, and was very friendly to my child and polite to me.
