Dr. Kelsey Williamson Applegath

I was transferred to this doctor for specialty care when some leg pain that had developed during my pregnancy worsened after delivery. Despite the fact that I had been suffering from this pain for months, she did not see the need to discover the underlying condition that may be the cause of the pain and instead recommended that I continue to manage the pain with even stronger medications. Fortunately, her colleague pushed for imaging that would ultimately lead to a correct diagnosis. After learning of the diagnosis, the physician made excuses for why she chose not to investigate into my condition further, stating that it was out of her wheelhouse as an OBGYN (though the condition was not under the purview of her colleague either). This clearly demonstrates that patient care is not a priority for this physician as she seems to more concerned with her area of specialty rather than having her patients receive the care they need to get better. I do not trust this physician with my health… and I would recommend that one seeks care elsewhere.
