Dr. Kenneth Cubelli, MD

I personally witnessed the Dr. inject a numbing agent to remove water from my friend’s knee and not wait EVEN a moment for it to numb. He proceeded to force the drainage needle in before the numbness could occur. EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL ! He had to be “told” by the nurse the knee with alcohol.....He finally gave her a pain blocker and once finished THREW the needle on the counter. If I hadn’t see it with my own eyes I wouldn’t believe it. I think it best he retire.

I was referred to Dr. Cubelli by my primary care physician after I had torn my right knee medial meniscus while exercising (which proved my point that exercising is NOT good for you, my dear wife!). Dr. Cubelli confirmed his diagnosis and we agreed on a conservative approach of treatment, comprising cortisone injections and physical therapy. Neither had lasting effect over the course of almost a year. Still in pain, I scheduled arthroscopic surgery at the Denville Surgical Center Of Northwest Jersey. The staff there treated me like I was a relative that they liked, I can't say enough good things about them. After a brief wait, I was brought into the operating theater and Dr. Cubelli did his work. After it was all over, I received pictures of the inside of my knee, showing the tears and the finished product - kind of like getting the photos after riding the log flume ride at Great Adventure. A week later, I'm pain free, for the first time in a year, with a great prognosis. Dr.… Cubelli and his staff were exceptional. He doesn't push to surgery, he gives you his diagnosis in simple terms and then the options, and then asks you what you want to do. He is quiet and reassuring, entirely understated but competent. I hope I never have to see him again, but if I have any problems like the one I just had, I will be heading right to his office!

I was visiting in the area and happened to fall down one step and dislocated and broke my ankle. I saw Dr. Cubelli in the emergency room of St. Clare's Hosp. I was really nervous. But I was soon at ease because Dr. Cubelli is a quiet, caring doctor. All the hosp staff said he was wonderful and I found them to be 100% correct.

Kind and thorough

I have been a patient of Dr. Cubelli since he started practicing in Denville. He has a compassionate bedside manner, is truthful, realistic, and sincere. I found him to accomodate my needs even during his personal, at-home times. I trust him and prefer him to the two other doctors in his association.
