Dr. Kenneth James Helal, MD

I cannot say enough about Dr. Helal. I was rushed into the emergency room with a ruptured eptopic pregnancy. Dr. Helal was there within 20 minutes to perform emergency surgery. Dr. Helal kept my family informed, showed them pictures, and was available to answer all the questions we had. Dr. Helal visited me the next morning at 7 AM to check on me, and reassured me that all was going to be just fine. Dr. Helal is brilliant, thorough, and incredibly caring. Thank God for Dr. Helal.

Dr.Helal was amazing when I had seen him. He was actually a fill in for another doctor in the office, which was on vacation at the point, and I had a big emergency with an infection. He got me right in, no hesitation and had the blood work done with same day results. For being a "fill in" for my regular gyno, he was unbelievable. He answered all of my questions, gave me more information on things that could happen and what to watch for. For being such a rough time in my life with what was going on, he made it a lot easier on me and my family.

He was very sensitive to my wife's needs all through her pregnancy and even came in when he wasn't scheduled to be on call to coordinate and deliver our baby son. My wife was on schedule to deliver very early which never happened because Dr. Helal kept close track of her with frequent visits to monitor progress and developed a solid pregnancy plan that was best for the baby and my wife.He is extremely detail oriented and leaves no grey area during visits. You can't do any better than this doctor.

VERY bad experience with this doctor!!! I seen Dr. Helal when I was pregnant with my third child. I repeatedly expressed my concerns about having a premature baby. I was concerned because my older two children were also premature. I consulted Dr. Helal about what my old doctor had done to help give my older kids the best possible chance at being healthy since he knew they would be premature. Dr. Helal ignored these concerns and as a result my baby spent a month and a half in the NICU. I truly believe that doctors should listen to their patients and Dr. Helal did not listen to me. My baby made it therefore I am lucky, however I know of others who were not as lucky.

He treated both my daughter and me in Muncie, IN and I can't say enough good about him. I wish he were still here.
