Dr. Kendra Hutchinson, MD

Was unfortunate enough to get her as the on call oncologist for a concern I had about dad’s test. It was a simple question of whether liver function test can be added on to dad’s basic metabolic panel , and she straight out lied to me that it can’t be done. I’ve been practicing medicine for a decade and I know it can. I contacted the phlebotomist at my work who confirmed. Shame on you for your unwillingness to help! Nothing like a cranky oncologist feeling annoyed at a desperate daughter who is concerned about her very ill father. This doctor should not be in this field, or at least should not cover calls (must have been rough for her to answer a call since usually fellows do this work for her.)

Refused to follow up with family members who had permission to be informed on their loved ones condition.

Honestly would not be alive today if it weren't for Dr. Hutchinson, went to her for second opinion, switched to UCD medical group immediately after appointment. The care she provides is the gold standard of treatment.

Doctor Hutchinson is very professional, caring and gives you confidence in that what she is doing is best for you. She includes you in all the decisions she makes about your care, I feel so lucky that she was assigned to me.

Dr. Hutchinson is the most kind, caring doctor you will ever find. When you are going through cancer therapy, having such a wonderful doctor is a blessing. Dr. H holds your hand and guides you through a very scary process with a sense of humor, compassion and knowledge. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their oncologist.

I am a person who never ever is ill. When i found that I had breast cancer it was already advanced, I have undergone chemo therapy ( Yep lost all my hair) and had one serious reaction to the Zomeda therapy. It has been a little over two years and the cancer has not spread. i also have my hair back(mostly). I recommend Kendra as a caring and compassionate Doctor. Due to her help I can accept my cancer and still live a fulfilling life. She is a true Doctor taking time to explain and reassure you in each phase of your treatment. I love this woman and hope yoou have the same care that I received
