"Let me first start by saying, I had cortizone shots in my heels 20 years ago due to Plantar Fascitis (by another physician). Cortizone shots in my heels for three years and each time had been terrifying and the shots...excruciating!! Late last year my thumbs were locking (like trigger finger) and I exausted every avenue of alternative medicine before making an appointment for cortizone shots. The

“My thumb had a chipped bone at the base of it from a fall while backpacking 5 years earlier. The bone deteriorated so that my thumb would dislocate without warning. I was dropping to my knees in Home Depot and crawling into a corner to reduce the dislocation. I'm a backpacking guide in Yosemite for REI Adventures and could not have my thumb dislocating on the cables of Half Dome. Dr. Lee did an amazing surgery that replaced the chipped bone with a rolled-up tendon from my forearm. The result is like having a new hand: no disfigurement, no impairment, and a thin 1 inch scar. Dr. Lee is always patient, caring and listens to us when we talk about our physical problems. I had been suffering for months with pain in my right thumb. One appointment and one injection later, I have little to no pain anymore. I am able to do things once again such as writing and typing. "Dupuytren's contracture – After many years of a gradually worsening case of Dupuytren's on my right hand, I went to see Dr. Lee in January 2011. He quickly assessed the situation and recommended the needling technique for my condition. A month later I had the procedure, which only took about a half hour and was carried out right in the office. The procedure immediately helped remedy the problem. Better yet, my hand continued to improve over time. Now, about two months after the procedure, my hand seems like new, with no sensation of cords being stretched. Let me add that Dr. Lee's office environment and "bedside manner" is very pleasant and relaxing. And his nurse Dorothy is a real gem, considerate and patient beyond expectation. I generally shy away from going to doctors, but I have to say that this experience was a very positive one." – T. Piazza
