Dr. Kenessa B Edwards, MD

My experience with Dr.Edwards has been excellent. I find her to be very caring and truly concerned about my pain and overall health. I highly recomend her.

Spent about 5 minutes after 1/2 hr wait. Did not explain anything to me. Prescribed pain med. won’t be going back Rather unprofessional. Not what I expected at all from a dr.

Dr Edwards, works at 3 different hospitals in Rochester and Batavia, NY. Her bedside manner is pathetic, don’t expect any compassion because she and her Staff are just as cold. It’s difficult for them because she works at too many hospitals. She will only treat one issue per appointment to maximize her insurance money and the demand for her and supply of patients, If you are truly in pain, don’t go to her. She does procedures on her procedure days only! If you need medication reconciliation on a procedure day, you will have to make a separate appointment. Her PA’s just run “ lip service” for her and run interference. They will refer everything back to her and “ will address your concerns when they see her” She makes the ultimate determination as to your pain and how you will be treated. You can cry and scream in pain but if she doesn’t think anything is necessary, you will not get anything from her. Rather, she will pass the buck to your primary, tell you to get another doctor as a… back up for immediate care or go to the ER and spend more money on copays. She will not provide any communication with these physicians, either. She will not fill out any paperwork if you need it for insurance or for work. She will be your doctor very much in name only. She is very accommodating during initial consult. Suck it up because that will be the only time she will be that way. She also makes promises about treatments that she will reneg on. In Conclusion, find a doctor that stays at one office and someone who had more than 5 minutes to speak with you. She is very young and isn’t very good at documentation in her notes. Go to a more seasoned doctor. The busiest doctor isnt necessarily the best doctor. Good health, everyone and good luck.
