Dr. Muro has done a cervical fusion for me, and 12 years out, I feel as good as I can ! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Muro

Dr Muro is a rock star . He is reassuring and positive. He has a great sense of humor and kind.

He is extraordinarily skilled as a surgeon but also compassionate, a good listener, and his follow up post surgery is great. So many neurosurgeons are just technicians. Kenji Muro treats the entire patient. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Muro. He showed no compassion or understanding. His manner was flippant and condescending. I have had two previous spinal surgeries (performed by someone else), and have had Degenerative Disc Disease and Osteoarthritis for over 14 years. I did not appreciate his attitude and insensitive comments like "well, we're all getting older!" When I asked specific questions about MRI images, he zipped through them quickly, stating "your spine is just fine, no broken bones!"

Do not have surgery by this doctor. He states in his philosophy of care "It is my role to guide them through their condition beginning to end, calling upon colleaques to deliver optimal care that is multidisciplinary and comprehensive" I trusted him when he said this, my mistake. He has no idea what multidisciplinary and comprehensive care are. Beginning to end? He stopped caring for me right after surgery, I was on my own

Dr Muro was great he was very informitive / great bedside manner. he did a 3rd veticulatimy (not sure on spelling was like that before operation!)he was also great w/ explaining and coming down my wife and family. all around good guy,and I do not easily say that about to many people.
