staff never returns phone calls. i am paying out of pocket for supplies because they will not return calls or have dr. sign a simple order.

His staff is incompetent and will never return calls to fill prescriptions. I had to pay out of pocket to get supplies because they would not return a phone call.

Been seeing him for almost 15+ years and can honestly say maybe 3 times during all my visits did it feel like he actually cared about me or my health. It was just get in, check the boxes and get out. Kept giving him the benefit of the doubt that it was just his personality type. Finally had enough after he laughed and dismissed me after being late for 30 minutes. Could keep going on why he gets a 1 star but not enough words allowed. Could be a great fit for others but for me it never worked.

I'm going back to him because he is the one who helped me move forward

I agree with almost all of the bad reviews for the previous practice. Dr. Ashkin started his own practice in 2019 and I must say, it is nothing like the previous practice. When I see him now, he spends time with me, the staff is always amazing and over the top to make sure that I am taken care of. The old office was the worst. Everyone was very rude and rushed. It is not like that at Dr. Ashkin's new practice. He is the only doctor there now. No more getting a pager to be called on like a restaurant. I highly recommend Dr. AShkin, no one has anything nice to say about his old place, but nothing but good about his new spot.

If you want results/answers DO NOT put trust into this doctor. He is arrogant and did not take time to listen to my symptoms. Had to leave Dr. Ashkin just to get the appropiate medical care (surgery) needed. He would not listen to my symptoms or take me seriously! He actually would laugh at my vague symptoms.! I had all symptoms of brain tumor with hydrocephalus. None of which he discovered in the 2 years I was his patient!!! I was wrong to trust him! He was in no hurry to refer me to a neurosurgeon! Needless to say, I had to go to my primary care physician to get a appointment with neurosurgeon for brain stem tumor! Do not recommend!

Dr Ashkin is an extremely knowledgeable man who knows what he is doing. He does not run too many tests, prescribe too much medication, and never keeps myself and my ride waiting too long. I would not want any other doctor here in Charlotte to treat me for my neurological condition.

Dr Ashkin is OK. Satisfactory. The office staff at check-in and billing leaves something to be desired.

dr. ashkin is the only doctor that we have seen whom seems to have any idea about what is going on with our son. he is kind, caring and takes the time to get the facts that are need to be gotten(with out unecessary tests that cost money) in order to get to the issue at hand

Dr Ashkin has treated me from 1994-to date. He has been professional and competent. He was right on with his diagnosis and in finding the right treatment. After seen several other Neurologist in the area none were as caring as Dr Ashkin. I feel blessed to have found such a great Dr.
