Previous to surgery, Dr. Baum assured me that I would not see him approach me with a sharp instrument. Yet when he returned from scrubbing to do my second eye, he did just that. I saw him outlined in a lighted doorway with what appeared to be a scalpel raised in his left hand. I underwent successful right eye cataract/IOL surgery on Sept. 6th, 2018, performed by Dr. K.J Baum at Kaiser Permanente, Mapunapuna ASC. From the initial workup to post op followup, he was the consummate professional. He wins the Patient Seal of Approval from me. I recommend him to everyone for their eye care needs.
