Dr. Kenneth Alan Butler, MD

Very patient with my grandson. Very thorough. His diagnosis of my grandson's brain tumor was critical in his getting his operation at Nicklaus Children's Hospital very quickly. Very polite and answered all our questions. Very good with my grandson. I would highly recommend him and my grandson continues to see him.

Office staff is very lazy and rude! Does not want to work! It takes them 5 days for you to get s letter...

I can't complain. Dr Butler is excellent, very knowledgeable and I really couldn't have picked a better neurologist for my son. I highly recommend him!!

Do not believe on this reviews Dr. Butler is a great doctor, he does not make up for a disease. He tells the parents the truth and what the child needs. He is seeing my daughter in the course of 3 years now. He has always been both pleasant and professional to both of us.

I had to write a review for Dr. Butler after seeing the negativity here. He has been caring for my son since an illness as an infant, or about 7 years. He is kind. He is patient. He listens. He is compassionate. He cares. And he is knowledgeable. Sometimes he can seem somewhat abrupt - like in answering a question - but if you let him know you don't understand, he will go back and slow down / re-explain. There are some appointments where he is notably busy, and we have to wait quite a long time. But that is usually because he did not rush a patient out the door earlier who needed more attention than normal. Dr. Butler is a good doctor. As a parent, however, you have to ask questions to let him know if something doesn't make sense. He wont' know unless you tell him.

This is the most despicable, arrogant doctor in the United States of America! He does not care about his patients. All he cares is about the money he is making with Special Needs kids. His behavior disgusts me, he treats his patients like if he was doing the favor to listen to them. I will not recommend anybody to see this doctor. I will keep trying to find a neurologist with a heart that is willing to help my son. Butler does not have a heart. He is an arrogant idiot that humiliates his patients. I come from a family of doctors and I have never seen an attitude like this man. I do not know why he keeps working at the age of 65 when he hates his profession. This doctor disgust me! I will take my son to the best Neurologist in Bogota, Colombia. In Colombia doctors have a heart and care about their patients and no the money.

Yes, there was a wait to see the doctor, but my daughter sees many specialist in the area and we always plan on a wait. He entered the room, I believe, trying to cut corners and getting to the point of why I was there, which he asked me point blank. As I was giving my answer, which I guess was too long, he cut me off. I felt so flustered, my answer from then on must have confused him, because we got in a yelling argument right in the room. I felt he didn't want to listen to me, was not hearing what I was saying, would cut me off every time I tried to talk, and was so rudest doctor I have ever come across. I was standing there not believing this was actually happening. From birth, my daughter has been in and out of hospitals and we have seen our fair share of doctors. Never have I been treated as I was with Dr. Butler. Not all doctors have great bedside manner, but I have never experienced this before. He did apologize (although it seemed painful for him to do so) after he actually… looked at my daughters chart. But as a parent of a special needs child, who needs to be made felt that way? I would not recommend seeing this doctor.

Dr. Butler diagnosed my son with PDD-NOS. He also guided me and prescribed ABA therapy for my son. The therapy has done wonders fir the whole family. My son has accomplished so much. On our next visit Dr. Butler was pleased and very complimentary.

Very rude and very obnoxious. You can wait over 1 hour to see this idiot and he'll tell you if you don't like it you can leave. Very professional?
