Terrible staff.

Incredible doctor!! He spends a lot of time with us when we come in. Very personable and very positive about my husband's condition. Dr Fogarty is God sent. We are very happy with him and will use him for years to come.

Dr. Fogarty had been my elderly mother and father's physician for a few years when I needed to find a new doctor over ten years ago. He's the best personal doctor I've ever had and perfectly fits all the positive descriptions I read below. Those two negative reviews certainly don't fit the Dr. Fogarty I know and think that they have to be abberations, or were made by someone with some weird ax to grind. Dr. Fogarty has a wonderful bedside manner, always takes as much time as it takes to visit with a patient, and truly cares about each and every one of them. I DID have problems with the corporateness of the Longstreet Clinic, with whom he was formerly associated, and any issues I ever had with the practice was due to its corporate focus and never with Dr. Fogarty. He is now in a smaller practice and free to practice his medicine much more like he prefers and he truly fits the Old Country Doctor ideal one other reviewer mentioned. Even though I get most of my routine medical care… taken care of by the Veterans Administration, Dr. Ken Fogarty is still my family physician and will be as long as he is in this area.

Dr. Fogarty has been my doctor ever since he came to Gainesville. He took over my former doctors practice. Dr. Fogarty is a great doctor and feels like one of my best friends. He is always happy to see you where it is in his office or greeting you at the grocery store. Anytime I have needed my doctor he has been there for me. He will take all the time that is needed to find out what is going on with me. I have recommended Dr. Fogarty to many of my friends.

The staff was awesome but as a Dr he had no bedside manner.I went 3 years in pain just to have him tell me it was all in my head

Spends quality time during the visit. Has usually reviewed your records BEFORE he comes into the room. Often has written down some notes to discuss with you. Very funny, caring and a great doctor.

Take the time to explain to you any questions you might have concerning your problem. Never have rushed through my visit and if there's a doubt, he will order test or send you to a specialist. Wonderful person and a good physician.

I recomind this dr. to everyone. i belive he listens and cares about what i have to say and is open to my wishes and opinions. he takes his time and tries to make me feel comfortable wich is hard to do becouse i have not had very good luck with docters. my wait time is usaly short and he has on several occations worked me in when an emergency has come up and always follows up to ensure that i am doing ok.

Dr. Fogarty is a very nice man, funny and he really does try to listen. The problem is not the doctor, it's the practice. His practice is so large, they overbook and you have to wait an hr after your appt time to be seen. When you get into the room, you have to wait another 15 minutes or so for him to come in. He tries to listen but is just to rushed because of the overbooking. If you want to see this dr. I suggest making your appt for the first thing in the morning (as soon as they open) so you will not have to wait; otherwise, plan your day around the visit.
