Dr Gelman helped us become parents and we are extremely grateful for that!))) We did all the tests and procedures doctor recommended. We took all medications needed and did all phone calls we were asked to do! Absolutely everything!) And it worked!))))

Dr. Gelman is BEYOND WONDERFUL. My husband and I sought treatment from countless fertility specialists/clinics for 5+ years before meeting Dr. Gelman and he changed the entire experience for us. He is so so so kind for starters, which means everything when you are going through this process. He takes his time to explain everything you need explaining about. He is always on time. This is a rarity in the doctor world...and it means a lot when you are going in SO often for ultrasound and bloodwork. It’s also due to his wonderful staff. His nurses will get your prescriptions filled fast, respond to your emails, etc. He is professional and knows his stuff. I cannot say enough good things.

I was seeing Dr. Gelman for about 2 years. Very soon into my treatment I knew he was one of the best infertility doctors out there. He is honest, to the point, but at the same time sincere and kind. He won’t let you waste too much time on treatments that don’t work. He will make recommendations and point you in the direction to succeed. He never gave up on me. He gave me hope and every appointment was a step closer to fulfilling my dream. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with twin girls. I will forever be thankful and grateful to Dr. Gelman for his expertise and the time he dedicated treating me. He is a reminder that hope still exists even when things seem impossible.

I went to Dr Gelman because I wanted to get pregnant but i have PCOS. After he turned me upside down and did an insane amount of testing (some of it without my knowledge so I couldnt ask my insurance), all my test results came back normal, i clearly didnt have an infertility issue and he still said i will NEVER get pregnant without IVF and he pushed me to book my appointment to start. I went with my gut and got a second opinion. The second doctor told me everything was fine, i have zero problems and i can definitely get pregnant naturally. Lo and behold, 2 weeks later i got pregnant. So much for needing IVF. He was rude and dismissive to my needs and questions and I could tell he couldnt wait to get me out of his office. His staff is pretty rude as well, especially the checkout people. I wish i had read more reviews about him before i wasted so much time, money and peace of mind on this very unhelpful doctor who needs bedside manners and who is all about the money he can get from… you. I didnt want to leave without mentioning, that two of the procedures he did, were covered completely by my insurance, but they wanted to charge me $159 dollars each for "procedure room fees". They want you to sign a form before they do it. DONT sign it. I had my insurance inquire and they dropped this very quickly and never mentioned it again. BTW the procedures are done where you always get your ultrasound, its not like an operating room, which your insurance would still cover. They're shady and unprofessional. If you need someone compassionate to your needs, this is not the place for you.

Dr. Gelman has been a true blessing for my husband and I. We were referred to him by a previous patient (a co-worker) when we couldn't conceive and have been beyond grateful for his support, trustworthiness and knowledge throughout the whole IVF process. He's a straight shooter, no fluff, and we really appreciated that about him as we knew when to worry and when to keep calm. It's evident he cares for his patients; he'd even check in when I was feeling sick from multiple colds at the onset of pregnancy. I'm an anxious person by nature and always had a list of questions for him at every appointment and he was always patient and kind, never rushing me. My last day at IVFMD was bittersweet; I was so excited to finally be pregnant and moving on to an OB yet sad and humbled to be leaving Dr. G. But I know we'll meet again!

Dr Gelman helped me conceived my two baby girls. I went to him when I was 39 and at 42 I finnally conceived. We tried many things he will probably ask you. I did everything he said. First two times didn’t work and he encourage me to continue trying with different care, then the third time I finnally had my two daughters. I am so greatful to him. Thank you Dr Gelman for all your caring.

Dr Gelman has been instrumental in helping my husband and I to have the family we always dreamed of having. Our case was not easy and Dr Gelman constantly kept working and trying different menthols that finally worked. He and his staff were always there to answer questions, clarify the process until we felt comfortable and walk us through the process. You will not find this type of one-on-one at any other clinic.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr. Gelman and his nurse are wonderful people. I have seen many dr's prior to him and would never switch again! He's the best. Staff is wonderful.

We placed all our faith and money in Dr. Gelman. Three IUI and one in vitro to no avail. There is so much to write it wouldn't possibly fit here but we feel like they knew the in vitro embryos weren't viable but implanted them anyway rather than wait for the next round. It took a long time to recover from the grief of not being able to conceive. These clowns still send us invitations to their baby picnics. I found them somewhat insensitive and looking back it had a baby mill type of feel about the whole operation. As another poster said, be sure to do lots of research first before choosing a fertility clinic. All the best to everyone who's had to face fertility issues.
