Dr. Gordon is a life saver. He has cleared up my skin ( that was painful and bleeding at times) my joints hurt all the time, and now I have great relief. Even after a rheumatologist said I didn't have psoriatic arthritis and I was left in pain for months Dr. Gordon prescribed the right treatment, thank God! Staff seems to always fail at following up with forwarding paper work or getting special prescriptions filled/updated. Great doctor but he can only do so much with the staff he has. All are very kind, just not the best at paperwork. It's pretty tough to find an appointment too. But he fixed what others couldn't and I don't regret going to him.

He is a very highly rated and probably great doctor,but I could not wait 1 1/2 months to get an appointment with him.

Dr. Ken Gordon is not only an incredibly intelligent and gifted dermatologist, he is also one of the finest people you will ever know. I have worked with quite a few world class physicians in a number of specialties, and can safely say that Dr. Gordon is among them. That's it. Click "search". I just did. Google found 2,080,000 entries in 0.28 seconds. Odds are, virtually all of those entries are about him and the dermatology research that he has performed.He is also amazingly humble for someone so accomplished. There is zero chance that he would drop a little hint about being world famous and admired in his field. He probably hasn't spent 2 minutes in his entire life thinking about it. He does think about patients, finding new, advanced treatments, and helping other physicians take care of their patients. In fact, there are only two things that will tip you off as to how exceptional he is: The medical care that you will receive, and his sense of humor. Dr Gordon is very… compassionate, but he will not treat you like a child, or an idiot, or be arrogant. He treats everybody with respect and decency - no matter who they are, what they do, or what they have. If you want a doctor who will sugar coat things but maybe leave you with a little bit of a false impression about how you're doing, or who spends his time trying to impress you, go to someone else. If you are anywhere near Chicago, and you want an honest, brilliant dermatologist who is down to earth, will treat you with respect and compassion, and work hard to help you get where you want to be, Dr. Gordon is your man.p.s. And being a brilliant, decent, down to earth physician, he's got a staff cut from the same cloth.

My GP recommended Dr. Gordon as one of the best in town for psoriasis and related problems. My GP was right-- Dr. Gordon is tremendously skilled and obviously has a great command of the field.My only problems have come with office staff and the lead nurses; they aren't prompt at returning calls or following up on questions, so you will need to be proactive. Having said that, I think that it's worth putting up with the mediocre office staff in order to see an excellent doctor.
