Dr Johnson's office is great and recommend it to all

Based upon my experience with Dr. Johnson I would advice people to stay away unless they have a cold.

I have seen Dr. Johnson for about 10 years. He is always accurate in his diagnosis, takes the time to explain what the problem is, and is knowledgeable and kind.

I have had 2 visits in the past month. Both times I could not believe he was an actual Doctor. I played semi pro hockey for 6 years and have had Many trips to the docs office 3 MRI's and countless stitches. I hurt my leg ruff housing with my friends. I waited a week for it to heal on its own and I could tell it wasn't a normal injury. My leg felt like it was on fire and would get a stabbing pain every once in a while that would make me scream. He didn't seem to care.. He looked at my leg for about 10 seconds and said it would heal and kicked me out the door. I went back 2weeks later because the pain seems to be getting worst. He said that he couldn't see anything wrong with it and again did nothing. Finally went to another doctor who sent me to a Neurologist. Come to find out I have nerve damage and need surgery. The Neurologist couldn't believe DR Johnson didn't even send me in for xrays. He is the worst doctor I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of them. I would drive 100… mile to see someone else. Someone who knows what they are doing. If you are hurt STEER CLEAR of this guy by all means.

I recently saw Dr. Johnson for the damage done to my hand in a "chain-saw" accident. It was a frightening experience when the accident happened. I called Dr. Johnson's office immediately and asked if he could see me (I only live 6 1/2 mi. from his office and I needed immediate help). He took me into the treatment room within a few minutes of my arrival and assessed the wound. It was a nasty would that he described as having been "chewed up" pretty badly. The wound was diagnosed, cleaned and readied for treatment. He put me at ease, anesthetized and stitched the wound, used steristrips for the section of the wound that had no skin to support stitches. What I had envisioned as a very scary and painful procedure was done without me really having to face any of what I had imagined would take place. There was an every other day monitoring of the wound to make sure all was going well. He was professional, yet gave me a feeling of great care and concern on his part. He took time with… me and made the experience one of comfort, confidence and friendship. It far exceeded what I had expected! He made what could have been a traumatic situation one that was easily handled, not only by him but me also. His staff is friendly, caring and extremely capable, as is he. His nurse Margaret and himself were knowledable as to the treatment and stitches and they took great "pains" to make sure the procedure would have perfect results. I would greatly recommend this practice for any and all. Again I wish to "publicly" extend my total gratitude to Dr. Johnson for this experience of having been his patient in my time of need.

I have been to Dr. Johnson twice, each time for a completely separate reason. The first time I brushed it off to him having a rough day. The second time, when he had to audacity to laugh at me, I decided to get a second opinion. I am glad a did considering I ended up with a serious condition that took six weeks of intense treatment. I will never go back, even if that means I have to drive an extra 20 minutes to go somewhere else.

Dr Johnson is a good doctor, now I am the type of person, "get in and get out" that is my personality so Dr Johnson fits that bill. I tell him what the issue is (without giving him my life story) he diagnoses it done and I am out of there. If you are the type of person that wants to be stroked, and sympathized with then this is not the doctor for you. If you are the type of person who wants to tell their life medical history and complain about every ache and pain then don't go to this guy. Tell him what's wrong and he will runs some tests, check things out and give you a diagnosis but that's it. I love this doctor!
