Dr. Kenneth Michael Karlin, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Karlin for 15 year and 4 surgeries. My glaucoma has been study at a normal pressure for years. He and the office staff are very pleasant and professional. I have never left there feeling nothing other than the upmost respected and cared for. Verlee Bolton

Dr. Karlin is a very good ophthalmologist from a purely technical perspective. However, in my opinion, his interpersonal skills and beside manner are sub-par. His approach feels very mechanical. Also, if you have a Vision Plan that provides for an annual eye examination, I recommend that you do not see Dr. Karlin. His staff billed me for my routine annual eye exam under my medical plan. As a result, my routine eye exam was not covered 100%, and I was subject to a deductible of $124. His staff told me that if I wanted to have a routine eye exam, I should see an optometrist rather than an ophthalmologist, which I found to be absolutely ridiculous.

I. Have been a patient of Dr. karliin for 30 years and have found him to be wonderful eye doctor.

Not a people person talks down to you and does not handle old people well.was unprofessional when bringing my father in for simple eye problem expected me to bring all his medical history with me, not good at answering questions.

Dr. Marlin is an excellent surgeon. He performed surgery two years ago for glaucoma on me, results were excellent. I do not need to use drops anymore. My pressure in my eye since surgery is great. His ability as a surgeon Is themost important factor to me. I highly recommend him.

Trying to leave this doctor and having records transferred to other eye doctors was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. Don't try to leave this doctor before you get copies of your records. The records I did receive was not useful or unreadable for the new eye doctor and tests recently performed by Karlin's Office had to be run again. Costing everyone both time and money. I would not recommend this doctor to any one.

He's a trustworthy doctor. He knows what he's doing and answers any and all questions I have. You have a wait a little in his office, but can't be perfect!
