Dr. Kenneth E Kronhaus, MD

My family and I have been patients of Jersey Coast Family Medicine for 14 years. I received a notice from the office to schedule my annual physical. I requested an appointment for a physical through their on-line porta. I was offered an appointment by Amanda Goodman in February of 2025, 7 months Later. Amanda Goodman asked if this time frame works for me. I said no it doesn’t. No sooner appointment was offered. I then replied back saying I would need to look for a new doctor and asked her to cancel my appointment to which Amanda replied “ I will gladly cancel your appointment “ Amanda’s apathy is deplorable. To add insult to injury when you look up Doctor Kronhaus on-line it says Accepting new patients. If you can’t handle the patients that you already have in a timely manner perhaps you should stop accepting new patients.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Kronhaus. I found him on functionalmedicine.org which told me that he practices integrative medicine. For anyone with a complex set of symptoms and the inability to get a diagnosis, a physician who practices integrative or functional medicine is going to help you finally get to the root of your health problem. We are fortunate to have a doctor who practices like this in our area. So many people go into Manhattan to find a physician with this specialty. I have been to many allegedly "top" doctors who seemed so nice and caring, but unwittingly kept me sick for decades because they didn't have this type of knowledge. They would do a CBC and then have a clerk call me to say "your blood work is all negative." It always left me uneasy that they never cared that I was still sick -- they just didn't know what to do next. When my family and I saw Dr. Kronhaus, he listened to our symptoms, and did by far the most comprehensive set of bloodwork I had ever… experienced, because he is actually a true diagnostician. I had already done an elimination diet before my first visit, so was encouraged to see that he encourages this, as well. He thinks things through like no other doctor I have ever seen, which has given me the confidence to recommend him to many friends. I have never done that before. Lastly, I appreciate that he is willing to do what is right for me and my family, even if that requires thinking outside the box.

Nothing great. Gave me a prescription for an antibiotic I did not need. Stay away, a waste of time and money. No help at all.

Very COLD person, never converses with you,just sits and types into his stupid computer, doesn't find out all that is troubling or bothering you. Never even looks at you to talk to you, just looks into the screen. Horrible experience all the times I've been there over last 2-3 years. Time for a change I think.

I am a longtime patient of Dr. Kronhaus. He is terrific as is his wife, Dr. Usery. They both spend as much time with you as you need! Dr. Usery is so sweet and kind. I have always been able to get in for appointments even if they are the same-day. His staff is wonderful and they get to know you like family. His manager, Chris, will remember family stories you told her months ago and will ask how they are doing. I tell all my friends to see Dr. Kronhaus and hope you do too!

I was a previous reviewer that wasn't that thrilled but I can say after having gone back a few more times, I have become more comfortable with the doctor and his style and found that I could really ask him anything, share anything I learned on my own with him dismissing it (and him actually appreciating it].

I have been a patient of Dr. Kronhaus for a couple of years and his office is the BEST office I have ever been to! He is so patient and caring and will spend as much time with you as needed to alleviate your concerns! His staff is also fabulous! Christy and Melissa go above and beyond! I recommend all my family and friends to his office! You could not find a better Doctor!
