Dr. Kenneth James Lippman, MD

Dr Lippman saved me- this sounds dramatic but after four years of steep decline where I finally ended up hospitalized and barely able to get out of bed I am now sleeping, eating, exercising, and most importantly able to take care of my children again. Steps by step we worked through every problem. Dr Lippman changed all of the medications I had been put on that had been making me more exhausted, more foggy, in more pain. He takes as long as it needs to get you better step by step. I don’t know what I would have done or what would have happened had I not found Dr Lippman. I am eternally grateful, as is my entire family.

Dr. Lippmann has what I think we all wish for in a doctor: great competence combined with genuine compassion. His training and experience are at the highest levels. He knows what he knows — in spades. But he also knows when he doesn't know, when he or doctors generally don't have all the answers. Dr. Lippman has been a fantastic resource to work with for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is thoughtful, inquisitive and helpful with both diagnosis and treatment. I never have found a doctors that cares that worries what u do to your health,Now at days the doctors don’t look at u to explain what u having ,And with their back to the person they prescribe bunch medicines without explanation. Doctor Lippmann is one n one doctor that cares and take his time .

Dr. Lippman is the best, most thorough doctor I have ever seen. I felt like he really listened to everything I said. He spent an hour and a half with me going over my history, my current symptoms, and examining me. He assured me that he would definitely give me a diagnosis so I could get on the right path to treatment. He seems like he genuinely cares for his patients. The office is lovely and so is the staff. I highly recommend him. I'm so thankful to have finally found a doctor like him.

This "doctor" saw my husband for 2 years and NEVER physically examined him for Fibromyalgia. All this doctor does is argue with you and over medicate you until you are addicted to pain medicine! He has ruined my family life and he is nothing but a legal dope dealer!!! I have NOTHING good to say about this man!

I've seen many physicians over the years, some good, some who have done harm. When I first saw Dr. Lippman, his methods and manner were off-putting, just because they were different to me. Over time, I have come to trust him implicitly. His thoroughness, caution and care are what it takes to make a correct diagnosis. He spends at least an hour with me at every single visit-as he does with each patient, most of whom are on state insurance which pays below market rates. Dr. Lippman is definitely not in this for the money. If a rheumatologist diagnosed you in one visit without taking a complete history including that of your family and how your issue developed over time, that is not a diagnosis I would trust. The doctors who "diagnose" on the first visit are the ones who are making money- this kind of care is quantity, not quality. Dr. Lippman has a method in which he writes everything you tell him down-yes writes-who cares??? Is that relevant to your care or health? This… methodology is what sets him apart from other docs and enables him to develop a diagnosis over time, viewing you as a whole person, not as a disease which requires medication. By the way, everything he writes down becomes a part of your file including prescription copies, and you have the right to read anything in that file. In the fields of pain management and rheumatology, there are a fair amount of patients who are seeking drugs immediately, either for abuse or in order to sell them. It's a fact. The doctors who do prescribe opiate medication right away are nothing more than drug dealers themselves who are as responsible as anyone else for the overuse, abuse and deaths of those people who the drugs are not prescribed for. A doctor like that made me critically ill. Dr. Lippman's caution, judgement and thoughtful process with me are what made me trust him and believe that he had my health in mind as his primary goal. I didn't receive any pain medication for months until Dr. Lippman believed I would actually benefit from the pain relief. Obviously, I don't know if you're the patient Dr. Lippman told me about who wanted pain meds on the first visit and was denied, then left angrily. But if you're looking for a doc who will indiscriminately prescribe opiates-you have the wrong doctor. Did the brilliant rheumatologist who diagnosed you on the first visit refuse you pain meds? Is that why you wanted a "second opinion" ? To answer the patient that was never examined-if you know the field of rheumatology at all, you would know that Dr. Lippman can find out much more about what's going on with bloodwork, not physical examination. He is concerned with inflammation of your bones and joints. The way to best see whether or not you have this problem is with bloodwork and diagnostic radiology. If you want your blood pressure taken, go to CVS. My rating of Dr. Lippman derives from my experience over six months of treatment with him. His staff is amazing. They get it done and it's incredible to see how they do so much. Dr. Lippman's practice is exploding because he is accepting the patients that no one else will see because they have state insurance. You should consider yourself lucky that you were able to see a physician of his caliber at all. If you were truly interested in your health, you would invest the time and allow Dr. Lippman to do his job. People who are really desperate to feel better will try anything to make that happen. Nowhere does that happen in one visit. The only reason to ask for or expect drugs on the first visit is because you want the drugs, not the expertise of the doctor. Whoever you are, I'm glad you didn't get what you wanted and that he didn't give you the prescriptions you were seeking. It's people like you who make it harder for people like me, who are truly ill, to get the help we need.
