People seem to want their hand held every step of the way. People want doctors to give you a magic pill and get it right the first time. Dr. Olson works with you and you have to be invested in healing. You need to be patient with the process instead of feeling cared for because the doctor tells you anything you want to hear so you give them five stars and pay your bill. I’ve seen dozens of doctors, and Dr Olsen has been able to help me when no one else could or would. He is incredibly intelligent - sometimes staring off in deep thought - and yes sometimes asking questions more than once. It’s not because he doesn’t remember - he is testing you to see if your story is straight. After getting bitten by mental patients in the past looking for money, I don’t blame him. The bad reviews on here are mostly from people who went one time, and I’m convinced at least half are from the same two people. He rocks - stick with him, be honest and you will prevail.

Hands down the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. He misdiagnosed me and prescribed me unnecessary medications and didn’t listen when I said they didn’t make me feel well.

I’m so very pleased with my visit to Dr. Olson! Not only did he help me, but I brought one of my friends to his open intake as well. He was so kind, compassionate and showed a genuine interest in our well being and health. I cannot say enough good things.

Please do not go to this Doctor. I had seen him for a few years and, while he was okay to talk with, he kept reassuring me that the NEXT med would be a right one. I was rapidly using a variety of new meds that were going to help my depression and anxiety. The constant switching resulted in my experiencing so much suffering. I had horrible withdrawals, spaced out, etc. I did not get better until I finally left him. I went through a long long period of unnecessary pain and anguish. I sooo regret the time I spent with him and have had to work on forgiveness. I cannot believe he is still allowed to practice medicine. Please find someone else - he should not be practicing medicine.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Olsen for a little over two years now. When I first met with him I was a complete train wreck. Through patience, understanding, time and meds, Dr. Olsen has brought me through my dark time and I’m now a functioning adult. I have never experienced a negative thing about this Dr, his assistant or his office staff. I’ve always been treated with respect and they’ve gone out of their way to accommodate my appointment needs. Dr. Olsen is smart, very smart. He communicates clearly and is very knowledgeable about medications, he’s compassionate and has empathy. I know he has many many patients...I'm always impressed how each time I come in for my appointment and it feels like he remembers everything about our previous appointment...I never feel like we have to play ‘catch-up’. This is a good man and an amazing Dr.!!
