Dr. Kenneth Henry Ott, MD

About five years ago Dr. Ott was my doctor he’s the one that perform surgery on my neck and I had a discectomy I had spinal canal stenosis and he was by far the best doctor that anybody could ever ask for surgery went very very well I was back on my feet in six weeks they said it would probably take longer but I Healed much quicker because of the great work that he did on my neck I would highly recommend Dr. Ott to anybody who has any worries or second guesses about who touches and fixes their body the curiosity would stop here because I highly recommend him I will never forget him he is very caring doctor and wants nothing the but the best For you. Throughout my years I’ve heard of doctors who just want to cut into you because of the money that they want to make and give patients what they want Dr. Ott is not that way he will not cut into your body if not needed he is truly the best anybody who has surgery done by Dr. Ott is truly blessed thanks for listening God bless and have a… great day

Dr Ott has horrible communication, sympathy or humbleness for emergency spine surgery. At the follow-up visits was terrible getting pain meds and antibiotics, along with his office getting work paperwork processed. Most horrible experience!

Dr Ott had to perform emergency surgery at Scripps. I had no choice but to be his patient. Poor communication, consideration or sympathy. On follow up, insisted on higher pain meds and help with disability papers and it was like pulling teeth. Most horrible experience! You will never get humbleness from him or his office. If I could give zero stars, he would get none.

He left a piece of a disc fragment lodged underneath my nerve. Probably because he was in such a hurry to start his vacation!

I was told that the pain and numbness radiating down my arm would resolve immediately after the surgery, that I'd be back to running one month after the surgery, and that the risk to my vocal cords was "so insignificant that I shouldn't be worried about it." None of that was true. Over a year later, I still have pain and numbness radiating down my arm, running is absolutely out of the question, and one of my vocal cords was paralyzed when Dr. Ott severed the laryngeal nerve during the surgery, reducing my voice to a hoarse whisper. During the 30 second post op visit, he barely crossed the threshold of the room, quickly looked at the incision, claimed it healing, and stepped out. He did not bother to ask if I had questions or concerns. When it became apparent that the surgery failed to resolve my symptoms and that my voice was not recovering, he offered no insights or recommendations for follow up care. His lack of concern for my outcome adding insult to the injury that I incurred under… his care. I am more damaged after the surgery than I was before the surgery. As a young teacher, the loss of my voice is a devastating life long consequence from which I will never recover.

I couldn't be more pleased with the results

I was nervous about taking my grandpa to Dr. Ott because of certain reviews, but I was proven wrong. He is an exceptional and competent neurosurgeon. He had a confident answer for every question and communicated the best path for my grandpa to take. Dr. Ott has a direct, no nonsense approach and isn't that what you want in a doctor? Even though other reviews said he was uptight, I think I saw him smirk once or twice. I absolutely adore Dr. Ott.

This guy should either retire or be taken away in chains.

I found Dr. Ott to be an excellent physician. His assistant Karen was efficient and friendly and got me in to see him quickly. Dr. Ott was friendly, concerned, very knowledgeable about both my condition and the treatments for my condition, and I would recommend him highly. He was able, through his directness and knowledge, to leave me very confident about his ability to treat my meningioma the number of lot through his directness and knowledge, to leave me very confident about his ability to treat my meningiona.

What a terrible doctor, surgeon, and person. I wouldn't let him operate on my dog!
