Dr. Kenneth Leroy Parish, MD

Very arrogant and cocky! Didn't have much to say before my surgery. Did not offer me any time to ask him questions regarding my procedure. After surgery never came to talk to my family as a normal surgeon should! Absolute dissapointment.

Very cocky and arrogant. Did not care what I had to say nor did he give me the time to ask him questions. I would never recommend him to family or friends.

I'm so pleased with Dr. Parish. He is very caring and took a lot of time with me. When I had breast cancer he did my mastectomy. I couldn't be happier with the great care and attention he gave me. I was not an easy case because I have a bleeding disorder. He had to do my mastectomies one at a time four months apart. If I ever need surgery again in my life I sure hope Dr. Parish will be available. He is the very best.

Excellent Doctor

Went to see him as a follow up left feeling way worse than I did before I went in he did not see family after surgery if you ask him a question it was like you were getting on his nerves he did not want to take the time to say well we can do this or that NONE of that Just so he knows cancer is a scary thing we did not go to him because of a cold now really don't know what the next steps are

I first saw Dr. Parish in the hospital ER. I was initially seen by the attending physician who ordered a CT Scan and within minutes of my diagnosis, Dr. Parish arrived. I felt very comfortable and completely confident in him the minute he walked into the room. He was extremely courteous, taking the time to explain the diagnosis and procedure without wasting time needed for the emergency surgery I needed, which was performed immediately. Factoring in the recovery time and being admitted for overnight observation, all was done in less than 2 hours. I can't Thank Him enough.....I would absolutely recommend him!

Dr. Parish spent a total of 2 minutes speaking AT me and never once asked me a question or gave me time to ask him a question. I went to him for a second opinion and instead left the visit feeling dismissed and foolish for being concerned about my health.

Did not listen to anything I had to say. Not interested in symptoms or concerns. Rude and condescending.

My husband went to Dr. Parrish for gallbladder surgery. One of the deciding factors with regard to which surgeon to use was that the surgeon would be available after the surgery in case of problems. My husband had a previous experience where the surgeon performed the operation and left for vacation the next day leaving another Dr. to deal with the follow up. Dr. Parrish assured my husband he would be there afterwards for any follow up needed. Dr. Parrish spent about 1 minute with my husband and I before the surgery and told me he would see me afterwards. He did not bother to come to the waiting room to see me and instead called to tell me all was well. That was not the case as my husband had problems from the moment he was woken from the surgery. Dr. Parrish could not be found to help as he had a full day or surgery because he was going on vacation the next day and was booked solid. We will be consulting a malpractice attorney as there are ongoing issues with follow up. I would… advise Dr. Parrish to consider his patients as people instead of dollar signs.
