Dr. Kenneth P. Rubin, MD

Didn't realize my father was almost dying due to the meds prescribed by Dr Rubin until a visit to the ER and a two week hospital visit that left the hospital staff speechless. If he had had taken the medicine another week he would not have survived and hospital wanted to keep him for two weeks to monitor him due to DR Rubins negligence in prescribing my father a dangerous dose. I was told to reach out to the state board to report malpractice as they said they were "familiar" with Treating patients mistreated by Dr Rubin. Woman who answers the phone hung up on me three times when I brought this to their attention so now official apology or explanation as of yet. We now owe over 20k in hospital bills not covered by insurance. Thank you Dr Rubin for costing us my grandsons college fund!

I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Rubin. Without a doubt, exceptionally bright, accomplished, and studied, while at the same time offering compassionate thoughtful care.

I saw Dr. Rubin some years ago, a few years after giving birth to my only child. I was in my early 40s and pointed to the area that, as I would have known had I simply googled the human anatomy, was my gall bladder. Rather than identifying this, he sent me for a series of invasive and expensive tests--including a colonoscopy and endoscopy and spaced months apart--which all came back negative. Only then did he suggest we check my gall bladder, which by that point was full of stones -- so many that I had to have two consecutive surgeries, spaced an hour apart. (Thank God I didn't take his advice to choose a young female surgeon he had some affiliation with, and picked someone at NY Presbyterian instead. I can only conclude that Dr. R is totally incompetent or was out to string me along and make a few extra bucks in the process. I suspect it was the latter, given his track record. Reprehensible.

Cannot go wrong with Dr. Rubin. Has it all...super intelligent, great bedside manner.

Wow, Dr. Rubin was one of my best doctors. He listened to what I had asked for, explained to me what he was doing, as well as why he was doing it, did not make me feel rushed, and encouraged questions. He gave me complete testing choices, laid out all of the options before me, and even suggested doing research for me that I had not even thought of. He was willing to think outside the box. (Also I needed to reschedule and the staff was cool with that). He also has evening hours which was useful, and was able to do the endoscopy and colonoscopy in house, which went smoothly. I would very highly recommend him.

Dr Rubin is an excellent physician, knowledgeable and caring. He is not an alarmist and takes his time to explain and discuss all your various questions and problems
