Dr. Kenneth Shapiro, MD

Dr. Shapiro is a great Surgeon. He did my surgery and everything turned out great, better than I expected. He was very pleasant, caring and informative. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a surgeon. If I would need surgery again, I would gladly go to him.

Forget poor bedside manners, I wan corrected treatment but the staff is very poorly trained and rude. I NEED THE MD BUT the staff can go work at mcdonalds!!!

Dr. Shapiro is very confident. Straight to the point and I like that. Explains every detail without rushing and always asks if there are any questions. You may not be able to think of them as that time, just write them down for later. My follow up visit was at 3:45 was called and seen at 3:55. Woud I refer him to others? I sure would.

Arrogant attitude. When scheduling a follow up appt post surgey The secretary plainly stated Dr. shapiro is always late. He may be able to squeeze me in at 3:30pm if I am lucky because he is a very busy man. Expect a long wait to be seen because he doesn't do morning hours. She asked who referred me to him after I already told her that he did my surgery. She acted surprised and asked for my info for a 2nd time. Then stated the office opens at 1:30 but he won't likely appear until 2 pm or later. " he always runs late" was her quote! If it's a known fact that he makes patients wait excessively wouldn't you think he would try to fix the problem? Ego is a powerful thing at the patients expense. Not recommended period.
