Dr. Kenneth William Zehnder, MD

I went to him with knee pain and he suggested many possible problems but never mentioned cartilage damage as one of the possibilities until I woke up from surgery and he told me I had a small dent in my cartilage under my kneecap. He did fix that for each knee. The problem came back in my right knee.

The quack was incredibly inappropriate and rude. He became angry when we asked questions, yelled, and ultimately left in the middle of the conversation. He made outrageously inappropriate accusations and should not be in his position. WORST DOCTOR EVER!

Dr. Zehnder's assistant, who charged into the exam room was the most brash, rude person I have ever come across in a doctor's office. (If not his assistant, but nurse, I wouldn't know, she did not say). I was insulted, interrupted, and yelled at, literally. When Dr. Zehnder came in, the mood in the exam room did not change much. He barely glanced at my problem, and diagnosed me without hearing out my symptoms or history. He asked more questions about my previous doctors and their practice than he did about my health. I feel like I was cheated out of nearly $250. because I had to go back to my old doctor for real treatment. I received absolutely nothing for the $250 I paid Zehnder's office.

I have just come home from going to an appointment for a very painful knee. I have just wasted my time and money. I asked what I needed to bring before I went, and all I was told was I needed my insurance card and picture ID. Then they wanted a complete listing of my medicine. They gave me an envelope to mail it back to them. The person taking my blood pressure set up the automatic machine and then LEFT THE ROOM. Why was that necessary for a 30 second or so procedure. My blood pressure was at least 20 points higher than it has been in years because of this. Then the Dr. comes in who has obviously not looked at the MRI of my knee which is why I am there and asks me if I know what is wrong with I say that I thought he had the MRI and report and he would have looked at it. He said he guesses he can read the report! Then goes out brings it back in and says well it is a bunch of medical terms. He could tell a lot more with an X-ray that they have right there. I have the… x-rays and he doesn't show them to me or anything, and I dont' really think he looked at them. I have zero confidence in this Dr. he didn't really talk to me, I don't believe he can read an MRI from his attitude, and I think the x-ray was for them to make more money. I wanted to walk out after he first didn't' seem to know anything about the MRI. I will NOT BE BACK EVER. He didn't ask any questions, he finally said he "guessed" he should look at my knee. He didn't like anything my primary care dr. had said, he didn't know her. So what if he didn't know her. I am just livid, and will spend a lot more time finding someone to go to for a second opinion.

Having been a patient for several years and a 3rd generation patient as well, he has proven to keep even my most painful sports injuries from becoming permanent. I am 35yo and still playing ball 6 nights a week.
