Extremely disappointed with this office, specifically the office manager who allows this kind of behavior to continue with zero accountability. Staff, including the nurse handling intake, were rude and unprofessional. I called for days and left multiple voicemails requesting a prescription change, and no one ever returned my calls. I escalated the issue directly to Dr. Hui, but the underlying problem is clearly a management issue — no oversight, no follow-through

Met Dr. Hui today after dealing with some pretty irksome, continuing gastro issues and his calm demeanor is just what I needed. He listened and then stated his logical intentions depending on what test results provide, and going forward. I think he's going to be a positive force for this current situation and my future care. Thank you Dr. Hui.

A patient struggling with the gastrointestinal challenges of recovering from an Eating Disorder sought treatment from Dr. Hui at this practice. The patient consistently explained to Dr. Hui why his repeated suggestions of restriction were unhelpful and not safe without an educated response from the doctor after making these repeated statements. The patient explained why she did not want to know her weight in relation to her current process of recovery. The patient then went home to review the paperwork provided and was exceptionally upset to find mention of the BMI on the paperwork Dr. Hui personally typed post-visit. When this patient called the office to explain these challenges in hopes to help create safer experiences for their struggling patients in the future, they were met with being hung up on and when repeatedly returned the call, was hung up on 4 additional times. When someone finally picked up they ensured someone would return the patient's call. That was 10am, 20 minutes… after leaving the office. At 4pm the patient returned the call, was put on hold, and spoke with the office supervisor who then listened and continued to provide exact numbers related to the BMI after the patient had already explained how dangerous this information could potentially be. After requesting firmly to speak directly to the doctor, the patient finally received a call the following morning from the doctor who spoke over the patient without an apology and only offered to remove it from the electronic note, not acknowledging the actual issue of providing it to the patient. Dr. Hui then followed with, "well I don't know what you want," to which the patient then relayed the need for an apology with sensitivity without having to be asked. The doctor explained that he treats many people with Eating Disorders and always includes the BMI without complaint. The patient explained how this was an uneducated response, that patients with Eating Disorders will not likely speak out because they sometimes happily receive this information which only exacerbates their disordered eating thoughts. During the entire visit the doctor challenged the patient's reports of not consuming acidic and fatty items as the patient was struggling so significantly with symptoms that they were sleeping sitting up. The unprofessionalism, blaming nature, and insensitivity is astounding for a practice that will likely work with this population knowingly or unknowingly very frequently. Please protect your struggling loved ones and consider other providers. Their patients deserve better.

Dr. Hui is just great. he is calm, which we need, his demeanor is professional and straight forward. Takes extreme thought and consideration when treating his patients. to those naysayers, let it be known that Dr. Hui's religion is the reason he doesn't shake women's hands. He is highly intelligent and kind.

Gave him 1 star just because i have to but this guy is super rude, the way he talks to people especially to those who are first time patients , I will never give him my time again. Staff members were OK but Dr Kenny Hui doesn't listen, talks right over the patient and acts very arrogant. We needed answers for my mother's issues and he send us back to the primary doctor when he is the specialist they send us in the first place, i will never take my family members or my self to this person. Horrible just horrible.

Great doctor. Vey happy to have met him. He came highly recommended and I know why.

He wasnt aware of TWO side effects of med I was on, I had to tell HIM. No bedside manner. Makes you feel uncomfortable. Not recommended.

My primary physician recommended Dr. Hui as he is also his gastro Dr. Dr. Hui was great, spent time with me, answers questions and listened. He performed an endoscopy at Ocean Medical Center and I was nervous. The staff at same day surgery was the best and Dr. Hui came to see me before the procedure, spoke with me in the OR and then came again to see me in Recovery. I would never go to anyone but Dr. Hui. I wish I could give him 10 stars.
