What an awful doctor, he only cares about business and his referrals. He was so rude! I called a day before to ask over the phone what conditions he could look at as I have a painful anklebone from a past injury, and a foot fungus on one of my nails. The lady on the phone was very nice, said Dr. Dennis would definitely help. IF being rude to your patients is helpful, then he was top notch. First, I explain that I have this foot fungus, and that it hurts. I also mentioned my anklebone sometimes hurts once in a while (it was an injury years ago). He starts telling me that I need different shoes, that the shoes I'm wearing are old (here I told him I just bought them, that normally I wear SAS and just recently switched to Brooks)I go and bring them to him, he starts telling me that the brand Brooks running shoes buys from places like Cambodia and make it to their feet and that's why my feet hurt, but they don't hurt? I told him they were comfortable, he ROLLED HIS EYES. He started… mentioning "Brooks had recalls you know" though looking online right now, I do not see a SINGLE RECALL notice on Brooks. So, he LIED TO ME!!!! He lied in an attempt to get me to purchase shoes from his referral! He starts telling me I needed to work out and stretch my leg to stop the ankle pain, I told him I do work out. In fact, I work out 3 times a week and always stretch my legs. He asked if there was swelling, I told him no, that when I get home from a long day I put up my feet to help the blood flow. He rolled his eyes again, that is just really really rude. I mention the foot fungus and he tells me "no, that's trauma from uncomfortable shoes, from the pressure'. He kept trying to give me this stupid referral to some shoe store, kept saying that my shoes were poor quality and they were causing me problems. These shoes have never hurt me, none of my shoes do, and I KNOW what a foot fungus looks like. It's not trauma, that makes no sense??? So he goes back to talking about my ankle and like, to ice it, buy new shoes, I mention my fungus again like at the wrap up and he just stared at me and goes "Ma'am, you're frustrating me". I was so shocked I just stared at him, and then he left the room. I paid 106$ to be told I'm frustrating for asking questions on what I should do. A lot of his answers to my questions were bogus, like telling me I don't stretch when I do, three times a week and he notices after I say that I do, huffs as if he doesn't believe me? I was more than polite with this man, but having eyes rolled at me several times, and given an attitude and being told I'm frustrating because I ask a simple question? I am never ever going again, that was terribly insulting. He became more rude in his actions when I told him I wasn't interested in purchasing shoes from this shop he's clearly affiliated with.
