Dr. Kenya Kozawa, MD

Dr.Ken diagnosed my mother with celiac and wanted to do a colostomy because he said she would never get rid of her diarrhea. We took her to another doctor. She does not have celiac. She doe not need a colostomy. She was taking olmesartan which was causing her problems.

In 2004 Dr Kozawa did a colonoscopy on me and immediately diagnosed me with colon cancer. He said I would have to have surgery NOW ! I had the surgery right away. It has been 17 yrs. And I am so Blessed to have him still as my gasteorologist. Thank You Dr Ken for helping save my life. I am forever Grateful.

I was scared to death when i first learned of my illness and doctor Ken made me comfortable, explained how my meds would work, and when i went to my follow up, CURED, he seemed to be as excited as me!! He also helped me financially!! Dr. Kenya Kozawa is an awesome doctor!! I'm very grateful to him!!!

Kindness, so very intelligent but when he was wrong, did not hesitate to come to post op. I love the man. My brother's (3) that were given years beyond diagnosis. I trust him to be honest, even when it is difficult. He is my doctor! Real doctors are difficult to find. Diagnosis is difficult sometimes, if you don't give up, neither will he. Trust in your Dr..... I trust mine..all he wants is info and honesty. My Dr of 30 years retired. I am lucky to now have Dr Ken. Good luck to all finding your Dr Ken.....

Dr. Ken has TERRIBLE bedside manners. He was in and out of the room so fast and made me feel like he did not have time to answer my questions. Also I know that the hospital is a learning hospital but don't send students into my room to deliver my results. I would not recommend him, and this is coming from a nurse.

This doctor repeatedly writes prescriptions without doing an initial consult. If you are looking to score some prescription drugs without question, this is your man.
