Before coming to Brooks, she was Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, for eight years where she received the Samuel L. Stover, M.D., Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. Maher is participating in the Propranatal Study underway at the University of Florida, Shands, Jacksonville.
Dr. Maher is the mother of two boys and a girl, under the age of 10. Dr. Maher is a member of the Brooks Rehabilitation Medical Group.
