Dr. Kerry Abbot Schaefer, MD

After years of having doctors who did nothing but prescribe pills for me, seeing Doctor Pulliam was like a breath of fresh (healthy!) air. She is extremely caring, and instead of treating my symptoms, she helped me to heal. My quality of life has improved tremendously due to her treatment, and I couldn't be happier. This world would truly be a better place if all doctors were just like her. :-)

I used to be a patient of Dr. Peter Reagan, whose wife Bonnie and son Joshua were also doctors at Portlnd Family Practice. It was a well-organized, incredibly well-run place in those days, and one could not hope for a better doctor than Peter reagan, who has since, with his wife Bonnie,retired.I made an appointment at 9:40 am. yesterday and was pleasantly surprised they could see me the same day. The appt was for 11:30 but I was asked to be there by 11:00 to fill out some forms. I got there on the dot, turnded the forms in a little before 11:30, hen waited forty minutes to be escorted into the exam room . I then waited another 20 minutes, before finally leaving in disgust. I would not recommend this doctor or this clinic to anyone else, based on this experience. When I asked the receptionist why thehold-up she said, "She is running 40 minutes behind." I said, "Is this typical?" and she winced and said, "Yes, but she gives ou a lot of time once you're in there with her." So I'm back to… looking for another doctor who shows a little more respect for her patients. If she's only been in practice for a year, perhaps she should be properly mentored by the older, more experinced doctors there.

Dr. Pulliam is a wonderful Dr. she is very caring, and spends the time you need to get all of your issues addressed. She was my OB/GYN when I had my son, and that was during her first year. Since then I have been nothing but happy with her. Sometimes she can run a little late and be a little difficult to get into, but over all I know its because she puts the time into me at my appointment, and probably others as well. I'm am very imprssed and excited for this newer Dr. Being a medical assistant myself, I know that time and consideration, is something that many Dr. seem to forget. I would recommend her, and do recommend her. She has been a fabulous Dr.
