Dr. Kevin Wayne Alten, MD

First I would like to say I am a nurse, so I am very familiar with healthcare. I saw "doctor" Alten in 2007 for infertility. He was very unprofessional. He rushed me and didnt take time to speak to me about all of the issues i was having. I had to have bloodwork drawn every month. I called his office and asked when they closed, because it was walk in and I had to work. I was told they were open until 5. I got there at 4:40pm (as soon as I could after work) and a nurse that worked with a different doctor in the office told me he and his staff had left early. I explained to them I had to have the bloodwork drawn that day, they told me contact the office tomorrow. When I called in, Dr. Alten got on the phone himself and was extremely rude and unkind to me. Saying some thing along the lines of "are you serious about wanting to get pregnant because I don't want to be wasting my time". If any of you have deal with infertility, you know it is very difficult emotionally to even try to get… help. He impacted my life in such a negative way.... It lasted for years! I didn't see a gynecologist for YEARS after he treated me the way he did. Because of the emotional effects of how he treated me. I went years without treatment for my PCOS or infertility. I would NOT recommend him to ANYONE under any circumstances.

I began seeing Dr Alten after he moved his practice to his new location. He is kind and caring. He took his time with me and answered all of my questions in ways I could understand. Upon arrival I was greeted by his staff immediately and was treated respectfully. My appointment was on time and I didn't have to wait. He saved my life with his diagnosis. I highly recommend him to all of my friends and coworkers.

I have been to Dr. Alten for almost 15 years. I have moved out of the area and still travel back to Cambridge for my yearly check-up.

dont recommend this dr he is not very talkative and helpfull

This is my first visit with him. Talking to fast for me too quicklyWants question quickly.He really onfuses me.I have a mental illness that can cause me to get over anxious. It is called Bipolar, Which can cause my blood preasure to rise too high when rushed or adjitaded,But I will keep trying to understand and be patient for Him. I feel he is a great doctor.
