Dr. Kevin Ray Campbell, MD

My first visit was great! I was prompted to do everything online, including check-in and when I arrived at the office, the girl took me right back into an exam room. He told me I had a stroke and thought it was from atrial fibrillation. I went through two tests the second appointment I checked in online like I did the first time and after waiting 40 minutes I went up to the front desk where the two girls sitting there one of them turned around and asked my name. I told her she said well the doctor won’t see you now. She told me I should have checked in at the front desk. The two girls at the front desk do not even look at you out in the waiting room and it is a small waiting room. I was ignored the whole 40 minutes I was there. My appointment obviously came and went, and without even asking Dr. Campbell, if he would see me, she just decided to tell me he won’t. Long story short that staff is the rudest women that I have ever encountered at a doctors office. I will not be going back.… People be aware if you don’t check in at the front desk, you will be ignored and your appointment will come and go. Do not pay attention to any of the messages online that prompt you to check in. Since it was my second appointment and I was there they should’ve made an attempt to see me. I was to go over to test that I had done and now I have no answers. Rude staff.

I began seeing Dr Campbell for my condition about a year ago. The first time I was in his office his staff turned away an elderly lady who had made a several hour trip to see him but her driver got lost and they were late. The dr was not busy and did not even spend 10 minutes minutes with me. I can not believe he would not work her in. The first medication dr campbell prescribed broke me out in hives. I had to call the dr's office for days before he finally got around to changing the medication. After several months I began to have break through episodes while on the second medicine. Again I had to call his office several times before I could catch someone that could make an appointment. When I got there he was clearly not interested in hearing what was going on with me. He said there was really nothing he could do since I did not 'like' the first medication. Then he prescribed the same medication that caused me to break out with hives. I plan to find a real doctor.

Excellent Physician. SPent time getting to know me and my problems. Helped me figure out the best treatment plan for me. Gentle and caring.

I've been seeing Dr. Campbell for a few years now. I'm not his usual pt. as I haven't had an event yet but have a strong family history. Dr. Campbell took me seriously and expored my family history. He has following me closely and I feel like I am in the best of care. He doesn't order unnecessary tests but he also makes sure that tests that are needed, are done. His bedside manner is wonderful. I'm a health care provider myself (though I had never met Dr. Campbell before I went to his office) and I'm very impressed.

He did not answer my questions satisfactorily about the pacemaker or the medications. He appeared agitated that I was even asking questions. He wanted to get out of the room as soon as possible and not give me answers to my concerns.He has no bedside manner and I just seemed like a number in his appt. schedule to see without any productive communication.

Met once at hospital outside of Raleigh. Saw just before the Catherization. No "perconal" contact/follow up after procedure from Doctor. Excelent care - poor communication - felt that I was just a number that day!

This little doctor was very nasty to me and my family. I would never recommend anyone to go to him.
