Dr. Kevin Matthew Franks, MD

My experience with Dr. Franks was deeply disappointing and concerning. I accompanied my friend to the ER where we sat from 8 PM until 5 AM the next morning, during which she was consistently belittled, dismissed, and written off simply because she is a woman. Instead of listening to her symptoms and taking them seriously, Dr. Franks tried to create excuses rather than addressing the real medical issue. His dismissive and rude attitude made an already stressful situation even worse, and it was clear he had no interest in providing proper care. After researching, I’ve learned that there have been complaints about his behavior going back years, which unfortunately matches our experience. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and treated with compassion—none of which we received here

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THE CABELL HUNTINGTON HOSPITAL I MEAN THIS GUY IS EVIL. First of all we have to wait like 4 hours on a ct scan that we knew the results to, and this guy got on A PHONE-CALL mid conversation and just walked out of the room. BUT WAIT IT GETS WORSE my friend who was his patient told him that his manners were very rude and she even said it in the nicest way possible and he gets up and walks out of the room without saying anything. THE ONLY NURSE WHO HELPED WAS PABLO MONTOYA and he was the nicest guy ever. NOT TO MENTION WE WENT TO THE FRONT DEAK ON OUR FLOOR NEAR ROOM 17 on side A, and the lady at the desk REFUSED to give his full name and HERS. 0/10 if you are about to die DONT COME HERE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY AND WELL BEING OF THEIR PATIENTS. KEVIN FRANKS IS rude AND I STAND ON THAT.

Dr. Franks provided excellent care & quickly determined the issues that were causing me pain. He promptly ordered the appropriate tests and then had the best drugs administered to provide me with quick relief. He had a very good bedside manner & thoroughly explained everything to me - even at 2 am in the morning. You will be fortunate if you meet him in the ER.

Very arrogant and dumber than a door knob. I expect a dr to know more than I do, but this visit proved just the opposite.

It's common sense in the medical field that you don't treat IBD with TORADOL! It's sad that a second year medical student knows this. I was his patient with a Crohn's flare up. What a idiot!
