Dr. Kevin Donald Helling, MD

I have been seeing Dr.Helling for nearly 2 years now, and unfortunately it’s all been a big waste of time. His staff (particularly his PA Michelle and nurse Megan ) have discouraged me so much I am starting over with someone else . Dr. Helling is polite and professional. Too bad the rest of the staff in this office are not . Don’t bend over and take it , go somewhere that treats you like a human. I have pretty thick skin, but I refuse to be disrespected another day by this establishment. I’m now on track with the University of Utah . They are awesome, You deserve better !!

Highly recommend! I had to have a wide excision of a melanoma, he was compassionate, skilled, and my incision looks great! I had minimal pain, the pre and post op course was easy and efficient.

Dr. Helling saved my life! I've never been able to lose weight with diet and exercise, seeing him has given me back my freedom.

Potential patient's of Dr. Helling must lend zero clout to the vapid review left by the disgruntled patient which encourages individuals to leave the state - how utterly senseless. Dr. Helling is a gift not only to the city of Casper, but to the great state of Wyoming. Seldom if ever do we as Wyomingites have the opportunity to seek care from health care professionals with Dr. Helling’s: pedigree, level of empathy and compassion, bedside manner, and willingness to go the extra mile. He is an incredible advocate, surgeon, and human being.

Go somewhere else out of state. He's the only dic that does his "specialized" surgery nr state but no one tells you this until you've waited months and months and spend money don't pre op surgery but they don't actually DO the surgery you wanted!! The nurses outs you off over and over and over with no definite surgery date months and months later and I'm STILL WAITING!! IVE WASTED too much money now to quit but they will remember how insufferable they were when I just wanted this surgery to be over with but it hasn't even BEGUN!!! ( AND it HAS nothing to do with my insurance or things I had to get done- I am waiting on THEM only)

I do not know how WMC was able to wrangle this phenomenal surgeon in, but they must never, ever let him go. Dr. Helling is a gift from god. If his pedigree alone isn’t enough to impress you, his bedside manner, surgical prowess, and post operative care will. I am not sure who the disgruntled individual is that gave Dr. Helling the abhorrent review, but it should be given zero clout. Dr. Helling is the best of the best, and we as Casperites/Wyomingites are fortunate to have him in our corner!

I would challenge his integrity and honesty. My wife and I called him out on it today and promptly fired him TODAY!!!

I first came to Dr. Helling at age 56 weighing over 350 pounds, on oxygen 24/7, diabetic and barely able to walk more than 50 yards at a time without having to stop to catch my breath! Dr. Helling and his staff were kind, caring and helpful during the insurance process before surgery. Once I had my surgery, they kept in touch. I am eight months out from surgery, down over 130 pounds, no longer on oxygen, and no longer diabetic. I ride my bike over 9 miles a day, I swim and best of all, I can play outside or on the floor with my grandkids! I have sent several friends to Dr. Helling and my daughter recently traveled from New York to have him perform her surgery as well! Dr. Helling and his team are the best in Wyoming or anywhere else! Thank you, Dr. Helling for giving me my life back!

Dr. Helling is a gift to the community of Casper and the greater state of Wyoming. He and his Nurse Practitioner, Michelle go above and beyond. Their commitment to safe patient care is unmatched. Thank you for all that you do/have done for me. You’re absolutely amazing.

Dr. Helling was an amazing doctor from start to finish!! My results have been amazing with out complications!! I would recommend him to anyone seeking gastric sleeve surgery!!
