Dr. Kevin B Horton, MD

It is sad and angering to read recent comments made here on Dr. Horton. I have known him for years and he is a kind, compassionate, well educated, and he is an excellent doctor!! Because he has chosen another venture in life, he is slandered?? If he had not been a great doctor, why did the people making horrible comments stay with him for so many years? Because he wasn't any good?? That makes no sense at all. When your doctor chooses to move away or retire...or even dies, is he subject to the same ignorant comments?? He has chosen the path of CONCIERGE PRACTICE, and while it is unfortunate that not all of us are able to afford financially to follow him, myself included, it is not cause to speak poorly of a man who has provided excellent care for so many years in spite of practicing in a clinic that forced him to see so many patients a day that no one got enough quality time with him to discuss their issues comfortably. People should do their homework on concierge practice before they… spew judgment. It is an effort to provide unrushed quality care to each individual, and he is even making himself available 24/7 by giving out his personal cell phone number. I do wish I could afford to follow him, and shame on anyone who speaks ill of him for moving on from a practice where he was clearly rushed all the time. Dr. Horton is an amazing physician and a very decent human being and I would recommend him to everyone I know. Congratulations to him for stepping up his level of personal care and on his new venture.

After decades of loyalty to Dr. Horton my 90 year old mother was all but extorted for $1800.00 so the Doctor could invest in new real estate. Dr. Horton who says he is a Christian is now 67 years old and moving to a new investment. This is called a Closed Practice. We understand that language but why would he apply it to my Mother a loyal advocate who can't possibly benefit from such a lousy real estate investment? Judith Malone 312/890-8208

Doctor Horton and his staff are outstanding! His nurse Tacara is wonderful as well...I always love seeing her and talking with her as well as Dr Horton and the rest of his staff!!!

Dr. Horton has been my primary care physician for many years. He knows my health history and is careful to use that knowledge in relating to whatever condition I may have at a given time. He is clearly committed to both curing a current ailment and keeping me in good health between annual checkups. I couldn't ask for a better physician.

I feel Dr. Horton is always focused on details, takes his time and doesn't just try to get in and out as fast as he can.
